I really like my fridge!

This fridge is a life saver! Not only is it really attractive in my kitchen it's spacious and an excellent additional storage space for beverages leaving more space in my regular fridge. I think the best is the customer service! Melissa is great! So understanding when there was some trouble with my beautiful fridge! Kudos I would recommend this company and product to my friends and anyone considering a small beverage fridge. Thank you

Cool Modern Fridge

Bought this fridge for my buddy in his new office space for his company and it's a nice fridge to have. It's modern and sleek and fits the personality of a professional office space. If you want a great fridge that makes any dining space pop, this is the one.

Leaked refrigerant into our beverages

After a week, we noticed a bad flavor on all of our cans. I unplugged it, cleaned it, and started fresh. We restocked it and the same thing happened. Turns out, it was leaking refrigerant. It sat in my basement unplugged past warranty, so they only offered me a 40% discount.

Junk product, Junk service, Junk warranty

This purchase taught me an important lesson. NEVER BUY APPLIANCES ON AMAZON OR FROM NEWAIR. Purchased this piece of junk on July 16, 2019 and received it on July 22, 2019. Plugged it in, read the manual, followed all steps to make sure it was placed and turned on correctly and well-ventilated on a level space. The unit did fine at first. Then on August 9, 2019, the unit started making weird clicking noises and then shut off like the compressor was trying to turn on but couldn't and automatically shut off. I immediately contacted Newair. "Fern" (obviously not the real name) told me to return it to Amazon and they couldn't do anything for me. However, I had thrown away all the boxes so I told "Fern" I wasn't sure if I could return it without the boxes. Friendly helpful "Fern" said "Take it up with Amazon." Aww, such great helpful customer service from Newair! I asked if they were refusing my request for warranty repair because after all it is under a 1 year warranty. Newair said that any warranty claims under 30 days were being handled by Amazon and they could not do anything for me. Wow. Awesome. Passing the buck. So I contacted Amazon who put me in contact with a "Technician" for "Product Support." The technician gave me instructions to try to "fix" the unit by turning off the unit for 24 hours and turning it back on! No joke. The funny thing was that I already had googled how to fix a compressor, and I realized this technician was reading verbatim from the same how-to website that I had just read. WORD FOR WORD! Wow, again, such experienced technical support Amazon. I contacted Amazon a few days later after trying to reset the compressor and it was obvious the compressor was dead. A defective, piece of junk fridge. This time another technician at Amazon told me that the product was NON-RETURNABLE. WHAT? EXCUSE ME? Nowhere on the product page or anytime before or during the purchase or even in the order confirmation did Amazon advise the unit was NON-RETURNABLE. That's an omission of a material fact that a consumer should be advised of BEFORE purchase. Amazon then offered a $38 refund on a $200 DEFECTIVE WARRANTY product. What? REALLY? SERIOUSLY!? I didn't do anything except buy a defective product from Amazon and you are refusing to give me a full refund or help me get a replacement item? Newair who apparently delegated warranty duties to Amazon is supposed to repair or replace the device under the law and the warranty. Oh and the warranty? Even if you get a defective product through no fault of yours...YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING THEIR JUNK PRODUCT TO THEM and FOR THEM SHIPPING A REPAIRED OR NEW ONE BACK TO YOU. It's a useless, and meaningless warranty, friends. I was pretty angry. This is not how warranties work. Newair and Amazon know this. I got Amazon to refund me $98 (50% refund) and just called it a day. I will never buy another Newair product again.

I would recommend this to everyone

I brought 3 of this units for my Business and everyone loves it. It's really nice looking and modern feel. It can hold a lot of Wines, beers, and can drinks. I like it has 5 stainless metal shelves. It's easy to clean and hold the weights very well. Overall it is a really good design and good price. It's good for business and home use. I would recommend to everyone.

I like everything about it - just one minor set back

I really enjoy this refrigerator and recommend it. The only issue I had, was a weird noise that it made due to some malfunction. But I contacted customer service and they were very responsive. My experience with Customer Service was great so overall I would recommend it.

Replacement Beverage Fridge

We bought the AB1200 fridge in October 2019 installed in December 29. I contacted customer service about an issue in June 2020. Liz assisted me with sending a replacement fridge and it is now working great. Liz was very helpful and we received the new fridge within a week of our first contact with NewAir. Thanks to Liz for her quick response and her wonderful customer service.

I Came for The Cooler, Stayed For The Customer Service

The cooler is simple to set up, even simpler to use, and has plenty of space. Lives up to the 126 can count for sure. But what earned the 5 star ranking is how friendly customer service was and how easy it was to order a replacement cooler when mine had a malfunction. In an era of planned obsolescence, having a positive customer service experience makes me like the product even more.

Love keeping this stocked by our back door!

I bought this last October and we have loved having it. We upgraded from an old "dorm fridge" style and there is so much more room to put everything we love and keep it cold. It is low profile enough to keep in our back coat closet area right near the back door so we can hop right in from the yard for another cold beer. Love it!

Very disappointed

On my second one of these units now and still the same issue. Had to return my first unit due to not cooling properly and constantly making very loud noises straight out of the box. Customer service was great in dealing with the issue with the first unit, however after keeping second unit boxed up due to move now to finally Un box it and put it to use, only to find out a month later that this unit has the same defect. I am starting to believe it is a manufacturing defect with this model and am hopeful that I can return this unit for a different model.
