Bought 18" and 24" for my 2014 Chevy Cruze, as per their book. They do not fit. the receptor on the blade is too big for the J hook on the wiper arm, not allowing the assembly to click into place. Pretty basic design floor. Now I have to drive 40 miles round trip to return them. Should have known not to trust Sams Club generic auto parts.

Easy to install

Easy to install and I had to make sure they did a good job so I went through the car wash since we haven’t had rain here to be sure they worked and they did fine. It just seems wipers only last a few months and you have to buy new-anxious to see how long these will last.

Waste of money

I bought a pair of Peak Optix Plus Beam wiper blades 16" and 26" and installed professionally by sam's club's technician. With in 3 days, rubber blades came out and I contacted Sams club for repair or exchange. They told me that they can't return it and not repairable. What a waste of money. I will never buy it again.

26” and 22” VW Atlas no-go.

I bought these on August 4th 2025and installed them the following day. They were great the first month. The 22” blade didn't fully contact my VW Atlas passenger side windshield, I got about 20” of wiping. The 26” blade contacted fully until the final inch on the bottom of it. After the first month there was streaking and chattering on the up swipe for 26” blade but on the down sweep it was solid. Fast forward to November 28th 2025 both blades were skipping, chattering and streaking pretty bad in light rain. It got to the point where I couldn't see in light rain, but in moderate rain they did subpar. Overall I wasn't expecting these blade to go bad so fast for me. The OE Volkswagen Atlas blades last around a year but the lifespan of these was a lot shorter. I wouldn't recommend for Atlas owners, as I didn't get full windshield contact on the Passenger blade.

Non-secure attachment to J-hook wiper arms

Purchased Sep 18, 2025 at Sam's Club. Broken on Feb 17, 2026. Very poor attachment to J-hook style wiper arms. Does not securely attach. Conducted an online search via Google and literally typed in this content..."Is there any history of Peak Optix Plus wiper blades not staying securely fastened to hook style wiper arms?" BOOM! Response received..."Yes, there is a history of user reports indicating that Peak Optix Plus beam wiper blades may not stay securely fastened to J-hook style wiper arms, with some reports stating the blades have detached while driving." Exactly what happened to me! Garbage.

Brian, Thanks for the review. We are well aware of the fitment concerns regarding the (arm / adapter / wiper blade) that are on the internet. The issue is related to the installation of the adapter on to the hook arm. The hook arm needs to be pulled past the locking tabs on the adapter. If the hook arm is pulled up to but not past the locking tabs then the adapter is not properly installed and can slide out of the hook arm. If the hook arm is properly installed it will stay securely fastened to the adapter. Hope that this helps. Sincerely, PEAK Technical Product Support

Unsafe

Definitely not a quality wiper blade. Bought a set of blades while ordering 4 tires for my truck. Blades do not clear all water leaving blurring areas to look through. Not safe!! Especially with freezing temps here in WI. Wasn't a deal if they don't work correctly.

Hi Lisa, Thanks for the review. Just to be sure there is a protective sleeve that needs to be removed after installation. This may be the reason for the wipe quality. Feel free to call us @ (800) 477-5847 to discuss. PEAK Technical Product Support

Don't click in place.

They work fine as long as they stay on. Standard J hook arm on my car. I noticed upon first installing them that they didn't really click in place because I could easily pull them right off. So every once in a while I tug them back snug. The other day while raining one of the arms did work itself off. When there's only a tiny square hole in the hook, if the plastic tab thats supposed to notch into that hole isn't engineered to go deep enough. I'm not surprised the wiper comes off eventually. Different brands have fit my Accord J hooks better than these. This is why I always keep an old pair of wipers in my trunk for emergencies.

Hi Richard, Sorry to hear that you are having issue with the PEAK Optix Plus Beam wiper blade. The adapter on this blade that is used with the J hook arm just needs the arm to be pulled in further to lock into place. Please feel free to call us @ (800) 477-5847 if you wish to discuss. False advertising 28” blade is really 26”

28” blade is a 26” I measured it and even went back to the store display took out 28” wiper blades and the 26” and it was the same size. Unbelievable. I couldn't even fit my old 28” in the box that new 28” one came in. Told the lady at the tire counter nicely even chuckling and she just looked at me and never responded with an angry look like why are you bothering me while I get paid to be an employee here.

Hi Eugene, Looks like someone opened he 28" package and took the blade and replaced it with a 26" blade. The beam blades have a built in curvature which would explain the shorter package accommodating the 28" blade. Hopefully, you were able to exchange it for the correct size. Sincerely, PEAK Technical Product Support

Bad blades, poor quality, wouldn't recommend

These are the worst wiper blades if you live in snow country. I had two blades break on both cars with a couple inches of snow on the car. They have very weak mounting plastic and are poor quality. Without quality wiper blades you can drive safe anywhere.

William, Sorry to hear that your wiper blades broke. Hopefully, you were able to exchange them for new ones at Sam's Club. Keep in mind that turning on your wiper blades when the wiper blade is frozen to the windshield can cause the breakage that you reference. Sincerely PEAK Technical Product Support
