I love the convenient packaging! That’s a major selling point. I hate having to divide meat, and vacuum seal prior to freezing it, is decent ground beef, but watered down for weight and volume (it doesn’t show in the airtight convenient packaging).  After cooking the beef when it’s done, there isn’t much to it because water is added to give the illusion of more product.

Good to freeze when buying in bulk. After thawing it out, quality and taste are intact. Very convenient for a family that can eat a lot.

Super greasy, which I get - it was 80/20. Still, probably one of the worst meats I have bought in the last few years. I thoroughly rinsed the latter two pounds, but had a hard time flavoring the meat - it just wasn't flavorful at all. Not a great buy.

Spoiler alert: this stuff doesn’t just live up to the hype—it’s practically the poster child for “it goes with everything.”First off, the 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio is like the Goldilocks of ground beef—not too lean, not too greasy, just right. I tossed it into tacos, and it was like the beef was born to salsa dance with cumin and chili powder. Burgers? Juicy, flavorful, and holding court on the bun like a meaty monarch. Spaghetti Bolognese? It soaked up the sauce and made my store-bought pasta taste like Nonna’s secret recipe. I even threw some into a questionable “experimental” casserole with leftover mac and cheese and a can of beans I found in the back of the pantry—guess what? It went with everything. The dish was a hit, and I’m now the family’s unofficial casserole king.The versatility is unreal. It’s like this beef has a PhD in adaptability. Breakfast? Crumble it with some eggs and hot sauce—boom, it goes with everything. Midnight snack? Slap it on a pizza crust with some cheese, and it’s like the beef was destined to moonlight as a topping. I’m half-convinced I could mix it with chocolate syrup and it’d still find a way to shine.Now, it’s not without flaws. The packaging is so tightly sealed I nearly needed a crowbar to get it open, and my kitchen looked like a crime scene after wrestling with it. But once you liberate this meaty treasure, it’s smooth sailing. Cook it up, and the fat renders just enough to keep things juicy without turning your skillet into an oil slick.In conclusion, Member’s Mark 80/20 Ground Beef is the ultimate team player. It’s the friend who shows up to every party, gets along with everyone, and somehow makes the night better. Tacos, burgers, chili, or that weird stir-fry you made because you were too lazy to shop—it goes with everything. I’m docking half a star for the Fort Knox packaging, but otherwise, this beef is my new BFF (Beef Friend Forever).
