Quality is great, fat is minimal

Texture is a little off

We have been buying this product for quite some time and found it to be good quality ground beef. This last purchase was rather disgusting. The texture was all wrong and gave the impression that it was built with pink slime. Pink slime is the industry term for the last remnants of beef processing. You can usually spot beef with it. It's usually sold in an opaque plastic chub. We did a curbside pickup so we didn't see it first.

Says 80/20 but it cooks way down and flares up more than any other 80/20 I’ve ever used. The packaging seems convenient until you try to open it. I’ll never get it again.

I think this might have been mislabeled when I bought it. It appears to be more of 73/27 than 80/20. Very high fat content and the meat is more pink than red. Very disappointed.
