I use white vinegar for my laundry, I wish more than two bottles came with for the price, even though it’s not expensive.

Use it in my weekly wash to disinfect and as a fabric softener. Works great! And doesn’t leave a smell of vinegar!

Multiple uses - for salads, cleaning anywhere hard water is a problem, a good disinfectant too. Also grat for making pickles.
