White vinegar is an excellent anti-bacterial. I keep it in a spray bottle on my kitchen counter-no worries about bad ingredients. Perfect for canning vegetables.

This works well mixed with a little bit of baking soda... we have very hard water that leaves a whitish coating & orange/yellowish stains in our toilets & sinks.
