Vinegar is so useful for many things, not just cooking. I do use vinegar for cooking but it's also useful for cleaning too and to clean the dishwasher or coffee maker. For the final rinse in the washing machine for our towels, I'll add vinegar instead of fabric softener and the towels come out fluffy and they do NOT smell like vinegar. Husband also uses the vinegar when he flushes out the tankless water heater at least once a year. And Sam's Club has a great price too.
