First time Roku user and have enjoyed both the pictures quality and sound from the Hitachi smart TV. Actually purchased the same TV again for our second home.

This television has been a great purchase. The picture is amazing! My first purchase of a Hitachi television was over 30 years ago and this one is the best yet!

This is a great TV for the money. I did a bunch of research and asking around about streaming platforms, including folks who work in digital media, and was advised that Roku was great. I recently moved from an area where cutting the cord from cable(satellite in my case, since I lived in a rural area without any hardwired services) was impractical to an area where it made a whole lot more sense. Once I decided I wanted to go the Roku route, it seemed like Sam's Club would be a great place to go look around since I've been a member for many years and have had good experiences with buying electronics there. This 43" 4k Hitachi Roku TV has been above my expectations. Listen, you can spend a lot more money and get a higher-end TV with a better display panel and improved hardware. If I'm nitpicking, you can notice a little light bleed along the edge when it's a black screen(I'm never consuming any media on an all black screen, it's only when navigating with the remote in certain rare scenarios). For the money, you get a really crisp, bright picture, the remote is so simple it's refreshing, setup is ridiculously fast and easy, and the performance is snappy and responsive. I also bought an HD over-the-air antenna to get some free local networks over the airwaves, and I love how you can control everything from a simple home screen without toggling between all those annoying inputs. Also, you can buy a simple 16GB USB flash drive, plug it into the USB port and that allows you to pause and rewind up to 90 minutes of live TV from your over-the-air antenna. That's cool. Love the Roku mobile app, which allows you to turn your phone or tablet into your remote control, and has all the features of your physical remote, plus a bunch of extras. It's super snappy, too. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Just got this set for a bedroom tv. Set up was simple as was Roku account. Outside bezel is pretty cheap plastic and doesn't seem to be as well made as the two Samsungs I have in the house. We'll see how it goes when I get the picture dialed in, but so far so good at the $339 price point.

The TV never works, returned to a Sams but did have same TV. I end up with nothing...

Could not be happier with this TV...all the great features and a super great price. Arrived in just a few days..I like everything about it.
