Great popcorn! Can’t reassemble after cleaning.

This made great popcorn! But I followed the directions for clean, that said to unscrew and remove the stirring bar, but the screw never fully came off, just the bar fell off , then the bar wouldn’t reattach. I couldn’t find any videos on YouTube, or anywhere else online to help me. Not sure how to fix the problem. They have great directions on how to make the popcorn, but not so good on how to clean the machine afterwards.

Works great mostly

Great performance popcorn popper, does a good job. Cleanup on the other hand is tedious -the base handles (black area) collects oil condensate and gets greasy to handle when cleaning. The best method I suggest is damp slightly soapy dishcloth or paper towel, tilt the handle pointing downward facing sink bottom & wipe gently & rinse carefully. Avoid getting water in the under portion of base. @Dash, please advise any suggestions.

Smartstore Stirring Popcorn Maker

The popcorn maker worked as it was supposed to. The only minor issue is the snap-on lid that others have also mentioned. I made sure it was security fastened but it still fell off when I turned the bowl over. I just transferred the popcorn to a serving bowl instead.

Too Hard to Assemble after Cleaning

The Dash stirring popcorn maker makes perfectly good popcorn. Not perfect-- too many kernels go un-popped, even when using premium quality popcorn. My complaint is similar to those of dozens of other purchasers: it is ridiculously hard to reattach the stirring arm after taking it off to clean the machine. Sometimes you can do it, sometimes it's practically impossible to reattach. This is just bad engineering.I wish I had purchased a different popper from a different manufacturer.

thumbs up

We have gone through several Stir Crazy popcorn makers and they all had issues, specifically the knob not connecting properly to the stirring rod, which made it come loose and not stir the popcorn to get popped. I have used this product several times and have not had any issues with the stirring rod coming off and the cooking surface also cleans a lot easier. Love this product!

So far sooo good!

This popcorn maker does a great job! I followed the instructions for measurements and made sure my butter for the top dispenser was softened. The only popcorn I had was very, very old (expired 2 years ago) so I followed suggestions and soaked it in water for about 10 minutes. Only 3 or 4 kernels didn't pop. Nothing was burned, and the butter was distributed well. I suggest that if you want to use more than the recommended amount of butter, you add additional amounts after it has popped. A few videos I have seen show people adding entire sticks of butter to the top dispenser and complaining when it doesn't all melt. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the results. I would highly recommend this 24 cup popcorn maker.

Incredible Popcorn!

I've used this product several times. Combined with Orville Redenbacher's popping corn, this is easily the best popcorn I have ever tasted. This product is somewhat more complicated than the dry poppers I've used in the past. But considering the incredible quality of the product, it is worth it. This should be rated 7 Stars!

Fantastic machine, easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this popcorn machine. Not only is it easy to use, the cleanup is quick and easy as well. The machine comes with a recipe book of different gourmet popcorn. I love the "Beat Popcorn" recipe as it truly does make the best popcorn ever! You literally pour kernels on the black pan and drizzle them is the appropriate amount of oil, cover the kernels with the dome and turn it on. You can melt butter by placing pads on top of the dome. The butter will melt slowly into the popcorn. The total time from start to finish is 5 mins 30 seconds, but it's so worth the wait. This machine makes GREAT popcorn. I will not eat microwave popcorn anymore. This machine will make up to 6 qt of popcorn at a time. The only downfall is you must wait 10 to 15 minutes between poppings. Three words: BUY THIS MACHINE! You won't be dissapoonted.

Nostalgia Modernized

I grew up with a stirring popcorn maker and it always popped the perfect popcorn so I’m so happy to finally have one of my own, except I love the added feature of being able to melt butter that drips right onto the popcorn!! I think the stirring rod I have is slightly warped maybe.. one side is lower to the heating plate than the other, but that may be intentional?
