[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this machine!! My fiance and I love making fresh popcorn and this gadget is fantastic! We usually do the stovetop method, but that requires constant tending. This machine has a little arm that sweeps the kernels across the hot plate so they don't burn and you don't have to worry about constantly agitating it. The measuring cup that comes with it is great for helping you figure out how many kernels you will need and the machine itself is very efficient--we had almost no unpopped kernels when we shut the machine off! I also love how the topper acts as a butter melting platform AND as a bowl. I'm always excited to have one less thing to clean up at the end of the night. Plus the bowl fits around the bottom of the cooking unit for easier storage too. Really love this machine!

Love it! I do not have a microwave and this has been super helpful AND you get to make so many different popcorn flavors. It is also super convenient since it comes with the bowl and storing it was super easy! Definitely recommend buying if you don’t have a microwave.

Homemade is so much healthier than the microwave kind as you can control all the ingredients. Do you HAVE to have this? No. I used to make popcorn on the stove top and it was just fine. But this popcorn maker does all the work for you. We eat popcorn quite a bit in my house, so this is a fun appliance to have. I would recommend this if you enjoy popcorn often.

I got this because I burned one of my big pots making popcorn on the stove. Then I had a batch of popcorn that kept leaving so many un-popped & I felt like it was because the popcorn kernels weren't moving around, so I found this cute popper. It works perfectly & we maybe get 3 un-popped kernels per batch.

And the best part is its without the harmful microwaves. It looks beautiful on the counter. It takes some time to heat up and once it starts popping its very quick. You can enjoy healthier popcorn with less oil in this.

We really enjoy our popcorn maker. We use it almost daily. Most of the kernels become popped and never burned. The popcorn is much tastier with this method versus air popped.The only drawback was that our previous popper had the on/off switch break, so we had to buy a new one. Hopefully, the replacement will last longer this time.

Just received yesterday. The delivery person dropped over our gate onto the sidewalk. When I found it, it was laying with the bottom up and open. When I opened it they was not instructions for using the popper. There was a booklet for making popcorn balls. I made a batch and about 1/4 cup of un-popped corn was in the bottom. I had to put it back into the popper to finish popping. Needless to say it didn't taste as good. Otherwise it worked okay with very little oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so looking forward to getting this. I would like to suggest that you consider adding a cover snap to the large bowl lid. I pick it up and shake it to bring the unpopped kernels to the center as several end up in by the handles. The taste of the popcorn is tender and wonderful taste. So much better than using my kettle.

Made excellent popcorn but have only used this device about 6 times since purchasing in Sep 2023. My big complaint is that I've had some problems with getting the stirring bar back into its proper place after cleaning. I'm at the point now where the knob isn't coming off completely and the stirring bar won't go back into place. It also appears that the housing rotation mechanism is too high because it doesn't sweep the kernels until they start to pop. It's' a real bummer that it looks like I won't be enjoying popcorn again with this device.

Just used my Dash popcorn maker for first time. So far I love it. I have had west bend stir crazy for many years and loved it until the bowl was beyond use (many many years of use). Bought the new stir crazy from west bend and it completed stopped working in 6 months. It was a little off almost from the beginning. This one from Dash seems like my original stir crazy. Here’s hoping I get many years from this one. Improvements include base fits in lid for easier storing and measuring cup built in. Handy to just make 2 quarts when I just want a quick snack. BTW, great popcorn using coconut oil and sprinkling with extra fine salt (I put salt through my nutrabullet to make extra fine) so it sticks better to the popcorn.
