I have used Folgers for over 50 years. I have had many other brands of coffee over the years but, I have stayed true to Folgers. The taste and the flavor while it is brewing is what I like. I always drink my coffee black. I drink 4 plus huge cups a coffee per day. Folgers is not always the cheapest but I like the taste. My mother started me using Folgers and I have never changed. Thank you Folgers for a quality product. I also use Folgers Decaf in the evenings.

Two years ago, winters storms and power outages blanketed Texas and most of us lost water as well. Since I always have tons of bottled water and coffee stocked up, I pulled out my camp gas grill and percolator and started making coffee (we only drink Folgers Classic). Knowing everyone was stuck at home without power/water, I just kept brewing coffee, filling up every thermos, and walked around door to door passing out coffee throughout my neighborhood. Two years later and I still run into people who remembered how good the coffee was and asking what kind of coffee it was. Thanks to the great taste of Folgers Classic, we all found a silver lining during that horrific storm.

I'm really disappointed with folgers lately, it has become bitter and not the greatest! Ever since I started drinking coffee many many years ago, i have always enjoyed and even loved folgers classic roast. It's almost as though the classic roast is actually the house blend! I've tried different water, filters, and even bought a new bunn coffee maker, thinking that was the problem, but I'm still getting bitter coffee! I will not give up on folgers, so please give me back my classic roast!!!!!!

I’ve been buying Folgers for many years, but something’s gone horribly wrong. Brand new can of coffee…smelled & tasted like burnt tires ! It was the most disgusting thing I’ve EVER tasted. I thought I’d maybe gotten a bad batch. Bought another can…same thing ! I’m switching to another brand. Thanks Folgers for a few good years, but never again!

I have always enjoyed Folgers coffee until this most recent purchase. Coffee has a chemical taste and is practically undrinkable. It also leaves a lingering unpleasant after taste. We eliminated bad milk, bad water, dirty coffee maker. The common denominator is the coffee. It's very disappointing when you look forward to that first cup of coffee every morning. Made worse by the fact that the price of the coffee has increased by 35% in one year

I just read Shane’s review saying the blend has changed. I am about out of coffee in my current Classic Roast can, so opened a new cannister and smelled the aroma. So different. Without telling my husband anything, i had him smell the newly opened cannister. “Smells different”, he commented, and he said it’s not a good smell. “The smell I enjoy is nothing like that” I am not sure what’s going on, but sure doesn’t smell as good as it used to! Please don’t mess with the coffee blend. Is it chicory? Too much Robusta? A corporate decision to try to fool us by using lower quality ingredients and to make more money for the corporation in this way will sully your otherwise good name, and will cost you a ton of customers.

While dating , my now wife, Kris made us some coffee one morning. It smelled so good, I tasted it and loved it, its all we have drank at home for over 18 years , All coffee's are NOT the same, I start each morning with a couple cups, and usually pour one for the way to work, never bitter, but a full flavored , hot , and enjoyable flavor to savor.I want to try more flavors , but I know we LOVE CLASSIC ROAST ...It is "The best part of waking up"

We have been drinking Folgers Classic for years and have recently noticed a less bold flavor and the grind appears to more coarse than previous purchases. The color of the coffee also appears to be lighter. Both my wife and I have noticed this and are very disappointed with the degradation of the quality of the coffee of late. We are considering a switch to a different brand at this point.
