I've been drinking Folgers Columbian for about a year (2 pots a day) and I gave the Classic a try.It's a good occasional chance-up in that is tastes a little more tart.I see jess33's review that it tastes like cigarettes and I kind of agree but I like that. (ex smoker that could use one)

I want drink anything but FOLGERS I ALWAYS DRINK COFFEE ALL DAY , IM RETIRED AND ITS A WONDERFUL PART OF MY DAY TO STOP FOR MY COFFEE, I DO MY BEST THINKING WITH MY COFFEE, THEN I HAVE 2 CUPS AT 5 BEFORE SUPPER . LOVE MY FOLGERS ANY TIME OF THE DAY , THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GREAT COFFEE.

Had to try a small can of Folgers again for nostalgia’s sake. I used to really enjoy the flavor and the aroma of this classic brand. But this stuff tastes like an ash tray now! Shame on you for cost-cutting this iconic brand into the ground. Enjoy your profits, Mark!

Folger's Classic is my favorite coffee. When coffee prices are high at certain times of the year, I sometimes buy a cheaper brand to save money, but I always go back to my Classic Folger's because I know it has a smoother, richer taste. My friends enjoy Folger's, too.

I have been drinking Folgers Coffee for several decades. Folgers remains consistently excellent. The amazing aroma and excellent flavor jump starts my day each day. I have tried other coffees and have found bitterness and harshness in flavor although the aroma was good. I drink coffee because I enjoy it. I smell and taste "fast food" coffee before I will purchase it. I detest poor coffee. I prefer my home prepared Folgers coffee that has been prepared in a Bunn or a percolator over most restaurant or fast food prepared coffee. Their focus is on other things but apparently not on the coffee. Whatever Folgers has been doing all of this time, please continue to do so; you have perfected the way that excellent coffee is supposed to taste. Thank you, Folgers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the smell of coffee brewing especially first thing in the morning. Folger’s has the nice easy open plastic canister that’s also easy to snap the lid back on. I use 2 tablespoons of coffee for my coffee maker to brew a half pot of coffee, for our morning cups this is the perfect amount. Price wise, Folger’s is pretty comparable to other coffees. I prefer a nice pot of coffee over making either K cups or by the cup in my coffee makers. Classic roast is a nice smooth tasting medium brew, which we prefer it definitely is the best part of waking up some days.

as my co-worker said "it tastes like old urinal water". not only was i disappointed in this coffee so was my entire coffee loving office. even the fragrance which is suppose to be what gets me out of bed in the morning made me want to hurl. I considered using the grounds for something else like a cleanser, or deodorizer but i cant fathom having that stench anywhere near my house. I have had folgers before and it was good but out of the past two blends i have purchased i have been greatly disappointed.

Coffee drinker for 55 years; as much as 30 cups per day. I am very disappointed in past 6 months of Folgers due to greasy/oily bitter coffee. Switched last week to major competitor and don't have greasy bitter coffee. I would like to know what has changed with Folgers.

Classic is my favorite. I have a friend who travels all over the world and negotiates contracts for coffee beans for his business. He buys, roast and sells fresh coffee beans. I've tried supporting him and drank so many different kinds of coffee I've lost count. To me, Folgers is the best coffee in the world. For 40+ years I have always kept a can of Folgers in my refrigerator. If I brewed a pot of other brands I would end up dumping it out and brew me a fresh pot of Folgers. Nothing compares!!! Folgers is as much a part of my family as my parents are. My mother brewed Folgers every morning on the stove with a percolator. The smell and taste of Folgers is one of the most precious memories of my childhood. After 53 years I still wake up to Folgers brewing in my kitchen thanks to the invention of automatic coffee pots. Every once in a while I'll get out the old percolator and brew a fresh pot of Folgers like my mother did for so many years.
