Great taste with every cup. The flavor & aroma of it brewing keeps you coming back every day. The only thing I see somewhat high is the price. No matter which store you buy it at price is the same. Even if you are retired/active military and shop at the base commissary, it' pricy, but we still buy it.

I have always liked the aroma and taste of Folgers vs the blue label guys. I really can’t take the flavor of the blue. Folgers is a hands down winner. But, something has happened to the aroma over the last year. Now today the flavor has a hint to “almost” a linger aftertaste of the blue guys blend. Say it isn’t so. Tell me it was a new guy (roaster) getting trained or counseling issue. Did your Q.C. Panel change? Is it the source ....... Help! Don’t Change to The Blue method!

This coffee taste very different it doesn't have that flavor it use to have I can smell the aroma but the taste don't fit the aroma I been drinking this coffee for awhile I tried different creamiers clean the pot out thoroughly it just taste horrible I will find a different brand!

Longtime Folgers Classic drinker here. Never have had an "anomaly" experience as indicated by some reviewers. Instead, I've experienced tried-and-true reliability with each canister of this blend. I trust Folgers and this fine product to help me start the day. Looking forward to sampling one of the 'Noir' blends soon.

I’m not sure why people think something has changed with the Classic Roast, I have not experienced any problems. People brew their coffee using different coffee makers, some drinking it straight black, other add different creamers and sugars. Nothing is wrong with the coffee, the problem is the other stuff you add in your coffee. I’ve been a loyal fan of Folgers Classic Roast for 48 years, it’s the only coffee I drink. When I was a kid I use to make a pot of Folgers, I’d add a little milk, and sugar then freeze it and had ice coffee slurpee to give me a little kick to play in the hot Texas summers. I also use the Classic Singles when I’m backpacking in the Rocky Mountains. I will never drink any other coffee, Folgers Classic Roast is hands down the best.

Folgers has been our only household coffee as long as I can remember, since a very young child. My maternal grandmother would brew it in a big white coffee pot, adding water, and putting the coffee directly in and boiling it without any insides. She made it strong and boiled it on the stove top. When she boiled it enough, she would put egg shells in, to settle the coffee. I don't know how many pots a day she made. All the family on her side were coffee drinkers, me included. There is no smell as good as freshly brewed Folgers. That first cup is paradise.

I have been drinking Folgers for as long as I can remember. I love the flavor of Classic Folgers even for my ice coffee,There is never an after taste or bitter taste after I drink it. Great coffee, we've been using it for years. This morning I decided to do the math on how much it costs to make a pot. We have a Keurig that has a traditional 12 cup drip and a k-cup maker in one unit. I use 4 heaping 1/8 cup scoops to make a 12-cup pot. I weighed the filter with coffee and it weighed 37 grams. I weighed a filter by itself and it was less than a gram. The current product has 1230 grams of coffee for $19 and will make about 33 pots as I make it. That comes to 57cents per pot. The current price for K cups at Sams is 33-52 cents for 8 grams of coffee, at best less than 1/4 of a pot. By weight of coffee, the same Folgers in k-cups would cost about $77. Members mark Donut Shop would be $50.

My husband and I are big coffee drinkers and have tried and enjoyed many different brands. We bought Folgers coffee and it tastes like it was brewed in an ashtray. I say that as someone who doesn’t smoke but has smelt it, and my husband says that as someone who used to smoke. It’s 100% not our coffee maker, it’s the coffee itself. It’s disappointing to look at the big container of it knowing it’ll go to waste because it’s so terrible that there’s no way we can drink it all. We even tried adding coffee syrups and different flavoured powders to it to make it taste a little better, but it can’t be fixed. We already bought a different brand to drink.

I’ve bought or had many of the fancy coffees, but I’ve been trying more traditional American coffees and this is by far my favorite. The first cup of coffee I had was Folgers Decaf crystals (I was 9 or 10 so about a decade ago) and the first can of coffee I had bought Folgers when I was a teen and I’m glad i picked up a can of Classic last week because the flavor, taste, and aroma is probably unbeatable. Thank you Folgers for making fantastic coffee that makes me want to get outta bed!! It’s truly the best part of waking up!!
