I have been a Folgers coffee drinker for at least 30 years. However, for the first time ever with my latest purchase of their classic coffee the coffee was just terrible. Taste like it was burnt. Smelled the grounds in the can and it too smelled like it was burnt. Must be some quality control issue. Hopefully this was a one-off.

Been drinking Folgers all of my life. In the last 2 years, the quality has declined. The last 12 month it has affected the taste directly. I have had to return 3 canisters of Classic Roast to the store and will not spend my hard earned money on their product any longer. The flavor has changed from a delicious, full bodied and toasty flavor to a bitter flavor. Sorry, but to the social media folks using the "this is not the quality we want our customers to have" copy and paste replies, this will not work with me. The issue is financially based; sourcing has changed to save thousands per year. Processes in the roasting and storage methods have also been adjusted to accommodate a cheaper bottom line. I have several family member that work in both risk management and process review for JM Smuckers, they have told me they are dissapointed wwhat top officials have done to not only the Folgers Line, but seveal other top product lines in the name of saving money. Shame on you.

I have when available only ever drink Folgers Classic Roast, even in Iraq, I had it sent out to me so I could start my day with a good cup of coffee. Recently I have changed to the KCups and they are perfect, 1 Kcup, 10 oz of water, delicious. This morning I open a new box and immediately noticed the tops of the Kcup color was different and know the taste is differnet, I had one earlier that was the last from the old box and there is a distinct difference. I have dumped my second cup as the taste is the much of a difference. I am going to buy a new 32 count today and hope to find the old packaging or i will definitely consider change to another brand.

Ive been drinking folgers brand coffee for well over 45 years Ive tried the competeders and they dont even come close to the wonderful taste of folgers. When I take a sip it brings a smile to my face because its my favorite flavor i love the taste. Its my go to for comfort on a stressful day. Its my one luxury I dont skimp on and buy other brand for me its folgers or nothing..

I’ve been drinking this for 25 years. It was my absolute favorite but my mom made me a cup at her house November 2019 and I noticed a strong chemical smell. Almost like someone dumped glass cleaner in the coffee. Since then I bought my own can thinking it would be different but it is not. Something has changed and it is terrifying to smell and taste!

I have used Folgers for over 50 years. I have had many other brands of coffee over the years but, I have stayed true to Folgers. The taste and the flavor while it is brewing is what I like. I always drink my coffee black. I drink 4 plus huge cups a coffee per day. Folgers is not always the cheapest but I like the taste. My mother started me using Folgers and I have never changed. Thank you Folgers for a quality product. I also use Folgers Decaf in the evenings.

Classis Roast is the only coffee we make at our house. Whenever we have guest who do not drink Folgers they always ask don't you try other brands! We simply say Why? When we have the best there is and always will be right here. One member of the family runs a coffee shop and tells us that we should try this or that and even wanted to buy us one of those fancy one cup deals. We simply said no! We make one and sometimes two pots a day and I usually carry my thurmos full of the left overs for coffee throughout the day. The only coffee for me!

I have tried many coffees, it seems that the only one that gives me the taste I enjoy in the morning is Folgers. Compares to all brands I have tried from the least expensive to the comparatively priced it is the only one that I buy. Would rather not drink coffee if its not Folgers.

I have been drinking coffee since sneaking it from my grandparents as a toddler. Now, 40-year-old me finds no greater joy than drinking a cup of pure Folgers coffee in the morning. Settling into a hot bath, with a hot cup of Folgers gives me a chance to drown out any stresses and give me something simple to remind myself that the small joys are the only ones that matter. Thank you, Folgers, for the everyday reminder.

I have been looking for answers about the difference in taste in my coffee . I have been a Folgers coffee drinker for many years and in the last last year or so it has been tasting bad I couldn’t figure out if it was the coffee , creamer or water but I am confident it is the coffee . What happened? Did something change? Disappointed that I can’t enjoy a cup of coffee like before . Will have to shop for different brands .
