Roses lasted thru valentines,thanks

My wife reported that these roses were some of the best she has ever received.

So glad I found these the day I went to Sam's. I needed purple flowers to the arrangement and there were a perfect addition. The roses held up and didn't look fake in the least.

I’m extremely disappointed with the flowers I purchased from Sam's. They looked beautiful when I bought them, but they withered within just a couple of days, far sooner than expected. I’ve bought flowers from other places that lasted much longer, so this experience was really frustrating. Definitely not what I was hoping for, and I won’t be purchasing flowers from here again.

They were pretty and lasted longer than expected but when I brought them home and had them out for a while, I noticed a strong odor of paint before realizing the roses must have been artificially colored on the ends. I don't know what with but they certainly smelled more of paint than flower. They lasted a long time though, so maybe there was food in that artificial coloring on the tips?
