Keystone 35-Pint Dehumidifier with Electronic Controls

The best Dehumidifier

So far works ok.  Unit sent to me was manufactured 10/20. 3 YEARS AGO.  Water bucket is not the easiest to get in and out.  Unit is cycling off in comfort mode not clear if it's supposed to.  Have not tried timer mode yet

Runs quiet, descent value for money, plenty of control options. Tank is too small for its water removal capacity always emptying. Tank is awkward to remove and re-install after dumping water. Tank also is messy when pouring water out.   No good way to do it without spilling.

Ok for the money but has tank design flaws

I do not recommend this dehumidifier due to several design flaws.  It actually does a good job taking the humidity out of the air, but I just found a huge amount of mold growing behind the air filter.  I have had mine for about 6 years and clean the air filter and water collection tank regularly.  However, I was cleaning the unit down today and noticed a bunch of black mold behind the air filter.  I can't clean this area (it is behind a casing that I can't take off); so I am now in the market for a new dehumidifier despite the fact that this one still works okay.  Other design flaws that I have put up with for the majority of the life of this dehumidifier: the wheels fell off pretty quickly after I purchased it despite not being moved very much (5-6 days a week I would wheel it about 6 feet from its storage location in a corner to the middle of the room), the water collection tank leaks (3 hairline cracks have formed in the bottom and side of the tank, causing the water to leak out of the tank and on to the floor during use), the tank is a little difficult to fully seat into position after you've removed it to empty it and requires some wiggling to get into place.

Leaks and design flaw caused mold growth in unit

Very pleased with our purchase. Easy to use and works very well. Use ours with a floor drain at my mom's so she doesn't have to worry about emptying out the device.
