I am extremely careful not to chip the enamel on the dutch oven. But to no avail. Chips rather easily. Too bad , I really like it. I guess I will for a little while longer. Then not.

I loved this Dutch Oven for doing all my boiling in and vegetables but the minute I tried braising some meats in it all the enamel cracked. Heated the DO up then added the olive oil and it went snap,crackle,pop,enamel popped everywhere! Luckily I where glasses! Hopefully I can get a replacement sorry I don't want another Martha Stewart.

I was so excited to get this delivered. As soon as I opened the package I saw that the pot had dents, spots, and other small defects. It's okay with me, so I won't be returning it. I love the color but I just wish that it would be a little better on quality.

This Dutch oven is very pretty but some of the white enamel on the inside of the lid chipped after only a few uses. I hand washed it each time and was not rough with it. There's also an imperfection in the enamel on the top edge of the pot itself (unrelated and not near the enamel chipping on the lid.) I noticed that imperfection immediately but chose to overlook it since it didn't seem to interfere with the functionality. Now that the interior enamel is chipping I will be returning and hoping the next one is better quality.

This is such an incredible option if you want a dutch oven and don't want to pay the Le Creuset price! I have had this piece for a while and use it constantly for a variety of meals - chili, soup, braising, roasting chicken, bread, tomato sauce; truly everything! I also have a Le Creuset and have cooked the same things in both, and Martha Stewart's dutch oven truly functions the same! It is easy to clean and has held up really nicely. There is some minor staining, but all dutch ovens are prone to staining. I much prefer a dutch oven to a slow cooker because I feel I can control what I'm cooking more precisely.

Super heavy and doesn't seem to get as hot as I expected! Disappointed on how it cooks, not what I expected.

I ordered three of these, one had a chip, one had a dent baked into the enamel, the other one(navy) bottom didn't match the color of the lid. I'm done! Never again with these!!

I bought this a few days ago and on my first use, this happened. Has anyone else had this problem. Its rust and it will NOT come off. I cooked a stew that only filled he pot about a 1/4 of the way up so no food touched the top of the pot.

Mine had holes in the enamel in the bottom of the pot. It is a beautiful pot, but not functional with flaws in the enamel that could collect bacteria. Very disappointing.
