The flavor was just okay. I could hardly taste any apple. The apple chunks inside were so small and sparse that they didn’t add much at all. It was disappointing given that I expected more of a real apple taste.

Short time in oven and voila! Family members commented that they tasted like a famous fast food pie only hand sized.
