This is a very good birdseed mix for the mid-Atlantic area of the country. Yes, birds in different regions have different preferences. It's almost $10 more than the same-sized bag from other warehouse stores, but it has a superior blend of seeds and nuts. I prefer to buy this one.

This product is absolutely the best in terms of quality and price. I've tried other brands that were $10.00 for 5lbs or $15.00 for 10lbs that were full of filler. So this 40lb bag is an absolute steal, and it contains plenty of high-quality seeds. The Mourning Doves love the millet, as well as the Chickadees who arrive early every morning to get first shot at the peanuts and safflower seeds. Blue Jays come for the peanuts and sunflower seeds; so do Cardinals. The squirrels feast on the sunflower seeds, along with some unexpected Woodchucks. As a testament to how much our backyard buddies love this seed blend, initially there were two Mourning Doves and a few Chickadees; 10 days later, there are 20 Mourning Doves, 50 Chickadees, several Blue Jays and Cardinals, 4 squirrels, and 4 Woodchucks... turning it into "The Old Backyard Buffet". To make it easy for cleanup, I just spread it on a paved surface in the backyard, and it's now become their favorite place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
