I bought this with free delivery and am anxious for the black birds to leave so I can put more in my feeder. We had a pretty little blue bird come to the feeder and an oriole, but the nasty black birds harassed them and threw all the seed out of the feeder.

Members Mark bird seed is primarily sunflower seeds. We really wanted a better mix of bird seed, like Pennington. We saw it in Sam’s today when shopping for groceries, but it was not offered to online shoppers. We had to order online last week because of physical limitations my husband had after pacemaker surgery. We will feed the Members Mark but it is not our first choice.

Compared to the previous brand I purchased (which I don’t believe Sam’s Club carries anymore) the birds in my area really prefer this blend. I think it’s because there are just way more sunflower seeds in this blend and other tasty things. I have a rather short feeder that can fit six to eight birds on it, and I’ll have close to twelve birds on my balcony at times seeking to enjoy some of the birdseed. While there is a mechanism on the bag for easy opening I just used scissors to cut an opening. I’m sure all birdseed bags are built similarly, but nonetheless I’d note that this bag is fairly easy to manipulate and pour, at least it was for me based on how I made an opening in the bag. The blend attracted a great deal of smaller finches, as well as a handful of cardinals and the occasional blue jay.

As the weather has gotten colder and natural seeds hard to find, my bird population has gone up a lot. The smaller bags I was buying weren't lasting. This is a good quantity and the mix of seeds appears to be a winner with my birds, lots of happy cardinals and many others breeds.

I bought two bags, when it was on sale. I was very pleased, with the savings. On the other hand; the birds are very pleased, with the food. A wide variety of birds have been enjoying this food. Of course; the squirrels haven't turned their noses up to it, either. That's OK; because we enjoy watching them, too.

Best bird food ever!! No chaff none, pure seed, lots of sunflower seeds. Birds love it. You can buy cheaper, but what you get is cheap...lots of chaff. And free delivery with Plus! Used to buy another brand but price went way high and bags had less seed and more chaff.

I’ve tried all kinds of birdseed over the years, most with dismal results - bringing few birds to my feeders. This seed brought Cardinals, Tuft Titmouse, a variety of Sparrows, Woodpecker, Goldfinch, etc. It’s been a colorful (and Long) winter! Plus a bargain to feed them with this seed.

I had hoped this was a true supreme blend but for the price that would have been too good to be true. It is not a bad blend but has too many wild bird seed in the mix and not enough of what would be deemed “supreme blend”. Still a decent blend and the birds love it leaving behind the small wild bird seeds. The Doves soon discovered what I discarded on the ground when refilling the feeders so not a loss at all. I will buy again since the birds love it on the most part. Love that it can be shipped to me.

I feed literally hundreds of birds. The 40# bag lasts about a month usually less. The birds find the raisins and peanuts in this blend irresistible. Squirrels do work on it though if I don't run them off for the same reasons. Being able to order on line is a real convenience since we are over an hour away from our nearest Sam's Club and don't get there real often. Would be nice if it was a bit less expensive but the quality is top shelf!

Lots of different birds visit my feeders ~ Cardinals, Blue Jays, Goldfinch, Chicadees, Flycatchers, Doves, not-so-welcome Blackbird, and even the non-winged variety Chipmunk! They all love this birdseed, and I have a hard time keeping the feeders filled.
