The bird seed is a good value but the mix of seeds for the birds in my area leaves most of the sunflower seeds on the ground. I live on an acreage and have multiple feeders and remote enough for no squirrels to keep up the sunflower seeds. My favorite visitor is the painted bunning.

This is the birds’ favorite seed mix and brings in the widest variety of birds. We mix it with a bag of black oil sunflower seeds to stretch it out. We used to buy it at our local Sam’s Club in Scarborough, Maine but they are no longer carrying it, so I found it on the website happily.

I have occasionally purchased this in the last year. My 84 year old mother and I love watching the birds, squirrels and deer eating under the oak tree. It is so amazing to watch the different behaviors of the different species of birds and their feeding habits.

So happy to be able to have this value bird seed sent to my home. I used to purchase in store, but the 40 lb bag was so heavy for me to transport from bin to cart to car to home only to lift out of car again! Now I pick it up once to put in container. I can continue feeding the birds......

This is truly the best bang for your buck! This bird seed is made up of black oil sunflower seed first,millet, a few shelled peanuts and best of all no Milo at all. Often the first ingredient in many bird seeds is Milo and most of the birds don’t eat it, it’s a cheap filler. This is my go to birdseed. You can’t beat the price for 40lbs of bird seed.

First year I've had a bird feeder and feeding all thru winter. Birds seem to like it, and I feel better having something for them. So convenient shipping direct to house, too! Feel sorry for FedEx carrier, I wouldn't have a constant supply of feed without your shipping. Keep up the service and good work.

Compared to the previous brand I purchased (which I don’t believe Sam’s Club carries anymore) the birds in my area really prefer this blend. I think it’s because there are just way more sunflower seeds in this blend and other tasty things. I have a rather short feeder that can fit six to eight birds on it, and I’ll have close to twelve birds on my balcony at times seeking to enjoy some of the birdseed. While there is a mechanism on the bag for easy opening I just used scissors to cut an opening. I’m sure all birdseed bags are built similarly, but nonetheless I’d note that this bag is fairly easy to manipulate and pour, at least it was for me based on how I made an opening in the bag. The blend attracted a great deal of smaller finches, as well as a handful of cardinals and the occasional blue jay.

I’ve tried all kinds of birdseed over the years, most with dismal results - bringing few birds to my feeders. This seed brought Cardinals, Tuft Titmouse, a variety of Sparrows, Woodpecker, Goldfinch, etc. It’s been a colorful (and Long) winter! Plus a bargain to feed them with this seed.

You were out of bird seed at three stores, you suggested another place. Use to go through 6 to 9 pounds a day . Other place cheap stuff chased all our birds away . Went back to your feed only but because of bad bird seed it took12 days to go through 6 pounds !!!!

I feed literally hundreds of birds. The 40# bag lasts about a month usually less. The birds find the raisins and peanuts in this blend irresistible. Squirrels do work on it though if I don't run them off for the same reasons. Being able to order on line is a real convenience since we are over an hour away from our nearest Sam's Club and don't get there real often. Would be nice if it was a bit less expensive but the quality is top shelf!
