MY “go-to” for feeding a variety of birds year-round! This is always fresh, no junk/chaff in it- Birds (cardinals, woodpeckers, blue jays, finches, titmice, junco, grosbeaks, sparrows, doves, etc) absolutely love it and feed here year round. Price is a bit more than I would like, however, when compared to other brands/costs, this is best value for my money!

The description states a few times "filler-free mix of sunflower seeds, peanuts and raisins" and nowhere does it say white millet, grain products. A picture of the back side of the bag should be posted so we can see all ingredients. The millet will fall through the holes of some of my feeders. On the other hand it is a good price and the birds of all sizes will love it and the squirrels, rabbits...

The only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star product is that there just seem to be too many little twigs and similar things in the feed - certainly not enough to cause me to not buy it, but enough to notice. With that said, this seed accomplishes its purpose very, very well - it brings a wide variety of birds to the feeder almost all the time, including varieties we've never seen in our yard before. What else could we want?!?

I've been buying this seed for years to fill my feeders for the neighborhood birds. I've never had any problem with it until this last purchase. When I dumped it out of the bag it came in into the plastic storage container I keep it in, it had some bugs in it. I've never seen that before. Google says they're weevils but there was also a tiny winged insect in it. I've ordered another bag and hopefully when it gets here, it's clean. The shipping was really slow, too. I'm wondering if it was being kept in a warehouse somewhere and I got an older bag. I'll update if this happens again.

I've been buying this seed for years. Birds love it and no problem with weeds from dropped seed. A couple years ago, moths got into my seed. They've been difficult to get rid of. But I finally found the source of the moths - THE SEED! I opened a new bag of seed and placed it into a brand new sealed metal container. Immediately I noticed some moth activity. I inserted a bird-seed moth trap in the sealed container. The next day there were dozens of moths on it, shortly afterwards hundreds. It's now completely filled. I now know the source of the moth infestation and will not be buying this seed again.

We purchased this bird feed because it said NO FILLERS. I believe that gravel, lots of it, and millet is a filler. We have been using this seed since 8/19/12. We put in in bird feeders and open feeders for squirrels and whatever. Well the bird feeders have a pile-up of millet & gravel blocking the openings and the open feeders are full of gravel and millet that not even our night visitors (raccoons) will eat. We have not seen any birds or four legged creatures eat the gravel or millet. Not recommended

The big bag is SO great but I am disappointed in the large amount of millet included. There is tons of it and as far as fruits/nuts.....maybe 3% and I can only speak of the nuts as I have yet to see any fruit! I sure was hoping this would be the greatest thing but am kinda disappointed as expected what was listed on the website and ingredients which didn't happen. Don't see me reordering.
