Love birds? Buy this bird seed and they'll flock to your feeder. Black oil sunflowers, peanuts, millet, and more is a combo that entices goldfinches, cardinals, woodpeckers, titmice, and others... I've bought comparably priced and more expensive seed mixes that were mostly millet or other inexpensive seeds...this one gives you bang for your buck and your feathered friends will be winging their thanks to you!

This birdseed, in my estimation, is better than most of the well known brands - many of which are expensive and are full of the milo and millet that even the squirrels leave behind. This brand is very affordable which has made it possible for me to continue feeding birds in these difficult times.

I guess I didn't take the time to read the label as I thought I was getting sun flower seeds which I did but there is a lot of very small seeds in there that just go right thru the feeders I have for sun flower seeds. Those small seeds need to be in a finch feeder, not a sun flower feeder. Therefor a lot of this is going on the ground for sparrows to pick up or it just goes to waste for the most part.

Beware ! if you store this bag of Sam's "supreme blend bird seed" in your home as I DID your home will be infested with moths ! The bag I purchased was full of worms/larvae and you end up with a moth factory !! I would not recommend this product to anyone !! If you do ya better purchase a Salt Gun !! No quality control from Sam's,I guess they don't believe in discarding a contaminated batch !!!

The birds have left my feeder after I filled it with this seed. I found Morning Song bird seed (Sam's Club previously carried Morning Song) at another store. Now that my feeder has Morning Song bird seed, the cardinals and the prettier songbirds have returned. I will not be purchasing Valley Splendor seed from Sam's.

I agree with the reviewer who can't understand why people woudn't like this. I have bought lots of different bird food and yes I like the Morning Song brand, however, I feed birds. I have six feeders and small bags are not an option. This has great seed, not filler. I had been buying sunflower seed separately and adding; there is no need to do that with this brand. Kudos to Sams and the Valley Spendor Co. Yeah!

This item does NOT state there is millet in the mix. It states sunflower seed, peanuts and raisins. I did not find any raisins at all. I put it out in one of my feeders to see how it would do. The woodpeckers go after it because of the peanuts, but I watched them spit out the rest of the food. It is a waste in my mind and the seeds that will end up in my garden below are guaranteed to make a lot of weeds. The price is great, but I can't say anything else good about it. I would not have purchased it because millet usually attracts blackbirds as well and we have too many of them around. Very disappointed and think they should state ALL the ingredients.

I have used Sam's Supreme bird seed for many many years. I've documented over 30 species of birds using my feeders. But recently the only birds that seem attracted to this seed are Cowbirds. I've lost all of my birds of color including my Cardinals and my Buntings. I'm very disappointed and hopeful that Sam's will recognize the deficiency and correct it. JohnG

I use to love this bird seed but now it is full of filler seed. Very poor quality. Before it had tons of sunflower seeds and big peanuts. Now it has more filler than sunflower seeds. Flakes from the filler go flying when I'm pouring it. Very messy. Wish they'd go back to how it was. I won't be buying this anymore. Sams club messed up changing this feed.

I must have gotten the bottom of the barrel when it came to this “Supreme Birdseed!” It has at least 20% of trash and stick pieces in it. I went out and paid less for another brand of seed just to mix it up with so the birds would have something decent to eat. Might want to rethink putting your name to this seed and won't buy again.
