My birds love this food so do the squirrels buttttttt I wish it had more bird food than seeds for the squirrels because these squirrels don’t let my birds eat in peace lol also I only bought this brand because they discontinued a brand they had before it was called pennington wild bird food with cherry flavor it had no seeds so when are you bringing the other brand back?

The birds love it... and it lasts for quite a while. Only negative is how many weeds are now growing everywhere I use this product, also there is a little residual mess from the sunflower shells. Before purchasing this I only fed “no waste” products and there was no mess, no weeds but more expensive.

I found this bird seed about 3 months ago and am thrilled with all the different birds it has attracted. I have identified at least 15 different types of birds at my feeders and of course squirrels and chipmunks come too. Many birds love sunflower seeds and this food is heavy on the sunflower seeds. It also has peanuts, raisins, safflower seeds, and millet. The millet is the only thing that does not always get eaten entirely. The only issue I’ve found with this food is it’s availability in store so I just ordered 2 bags online. It came quickly with no problems. I’m glad to know that it is available online. I’d hate to disappoint my feathered friends!

It was better than "lousy", but not much better. This 40 lb. bag contains lots of sticks and junk and very little in the way of shelled sunflower seeds. There were plenty of (rather small) sunflower seeds in the shell, way too much millet, and a smattering of everything else. It was probably worth what I paid, but just barely.

I've tried to go cheap, but you get what you pay for. I don't know how, but the birds but they do. We had a huge variety of birds come to my backyard feeder with this brand and I went through four bags of it this winter. They ate a 2 quart pitcher's worth almost every day. I tried the Pennington Wild Bird Feed with Cherry Flavor *(also sold at Sam's) and the birds disappeared almost entirely. This is the best bird seed I've found.

This bird food has attracted a wide range of birds to our bird feeder. Newcomers include: Red-bellied Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Eastern Towhee and Barn Wren. Others are: Cardinals, Black-headed Chickadees, Brown-headed Cowbirds, Downy Woodpeckers, Bluejays, etc. We noticed new birds arriving when we started using this bird food. While birds visit through the the day, it’s a busy place in the early morning & late afternoon. And, while teleworking, watching the birds is an unexpected enjoyment, especially our resident Woodpecker. Great product, don’t hesitate to buy it!

I bought the pennington brand to mix with this as I feed alot of birds and squirrels. To my great disappointment, I should not have done that. This bird seed is GREAT but I was just trying to stretch it. Now I bought 40 pounds of sunflower seed to throw in the mix. I will stick to this supreme blend from now on and nothing else!

The sunflower seeds are not very big and half this bag seems to be milo/millet. I'm watching the birds shovel it out of the feeder to get what little they want. Now that its getting warmer, I have hundreds of sprouts coming up of things they did not eat. Even though it is more expensive, I'm going back to Walmart to get the Nut n Berry.

The birds absolutely LOVE this seed. I'll fill it the morning, by 2-3pm its totally gone. I usually buy 2 bags of this since it's such a great deal, since late Winter I actually am going through one bag a week. A mix of cardinals, sparrows, catbirds, morning doves and even massive blackbirds devour this up. Squirrels and chipmunks also love the seed that falls to the ground. Bit frustrating for the past year, my local Sams Club just a few miles from me stopped selling this seed for some unknown reason, I would have to drive 10 miles away to the next nearest one which always has stock - as well as the other locations further away in the Philly, South NJ area. I started having this shipped to me because of this.

Birds really love it and the cost can't be beat. We have 5 songbird feeders outside year round (more for the hummers March through October) and use a LOT of birdseed. We put sunflower chips in some of the feeders and this wonderful blend in the others. They love both, but these are much less expensive. They do compare to what we used to buy for $2-$3 a pound, so we are delighted with this mix at this price. It's been a little hard to get at times lately, so we're just hoping that is a temporary situation because we rely on the availability of this birdseed. Thanks, Sams!
