This is the perfect, heavy duty, counter height stool for behind the counter usage.

I confirmed, online, that these stools were available before driving 30 miles to the store to purchase them. When we got to the store, they had zero stools in stock. We had to drive across town to another Sam's, 20 miles away, to finally purchase these stools. The stools are pretty well made. The chrome base is not as smooth as it should be. There are tiny, rough imperfections, almost like grains of sand, on the entire base. The real problem is with the "leveling feet" are made out of plastic or nylon and are slippery. The stool moves every time you try to sit down. I am going to have to replace the slick feet with some rubber ones. I guess you get what you pay for, but for another couple of dollars, they should have used rubber feet.
