Ham was very delicious!

not the best ham

I bought this for Thanksgiving, and we were ultimately disappointed. One of the big reasons for the purchase was the fact that it was supposed to be spiral cut, hopefully making it easier to serve and to spread the glaze through. Like many other reviews here, the ham was barely cut 1/3 of the way if even that. The cuts were also completely vertical and not spiral like you see on other hams. The flavor was ok but the looks of it quite frankly turned some of the family off. It appeared very fatty throughout. The best way to describe it is it looked like a block of that cheap deli counter processed ham before you cut it. Very disappointed and surprised. Will not recommend or buy again.

Worst ham ever. Bought for Easter. Did not know it was marinating in a cinnamon spiced solution until I opened it. The marinade is not the glaze packet. The ham is tasteless and all we could taste was the cinnamon. Really regret getting this for Easter dinner. I will never buy it again. I do not recommend.

Purchased this for Easter Dinner - made the MAJOR mistake of not washing it off to get some of this "marinade" off of it before cooking/ Then 2nd MAJOR mistake - I used the glaze that was in the package. Now I have almost 7lbs of ham that I have to figure out what to do with and how to hide the taste of it. Considering we had a family of 8 and only 1 lb of ham was eaten - this is sad! $30 down the drain. Do not waste your hard earned $$ - this is not a good purchase!!!!

I bought this ham a few weeks ago because it was a great price, and I make ham & cheese sandwiches for lunch most days of the work week. I opened this up, and the texture of it cold was terrible. It's like they used way too much thickener is the bit of juice in the packaging (I didn't open the glaze pouch). I didn't try it warmed up, but when cold it had a slimy, xanthan gum-type texture. Also, like other reviewers have noted, it has an overly acidic flavor , likely from the vinegar listed on the ingredients. I will definitely be taking it back to the store for a refund.

I purchased 3 of these hams for Easter.I gave one to family member and put one in freezer for another day since these are seasnal hams. I have purchased boneless spiral hams from Sam's before and was so pleased. But I'm very dissapointed with this ham. the taste is not pleasable, and we didn't use the prepackaged spices. Tasted the spice package and was not pleased. Ham leaves a bad aftertaste. We have always been pleased with Member's Mark products, but not this item.

I was very disappointed is this purchase, this is not a real ham portion, even though the packaging and shape resemble one. This is a "Ham" shaped piece of meat made of pressed together pieces. It is spiral sliced to further resemble a real ham, although spiral slicing is typically used because there's a bone in the piece of meat. The meat is tougher than real ham, and the outer shell is like leather.

Bought one for Easter dinner. Followed the directions on the package to warm it up. When it was ready, I discovered the pan was full of a snotty, sticky gooey slime, and the ham was coated inside and out with the same. I threw it into the creek, maybe the alligator gar in the lake will eat it. I paid almost $30 dollars for it, my wife said I should demand my money back next time I am in Sam's club.

This is the worst ham I have ever bought from Sam's. It is not a "spiral sliced ham". It is a loaf of pressed ham. I have been cooking hams for 50 years, and graduated from cooking school, I know what I am doing. This is horrible and ruined Easter dinner for 22 people.
