I was looking for clips to hang lights from metal on the edge of our roof. I noticed a lot of very poor reviews for these clips but couldn’t find any other affords options. I went ahead and gave them a try anyway. I followed all the instructions exactly. I’m happy to say the clips have held up wonderfully. Put them up in August of 2022 and the lights are still in place December 2023. We get very cold winters and hot summers in northern Manitoba and every clip has stayed in place. Very happy with my purchase.

I tested them inside on my mantle and the lights are holding great. There was no damage to the surface. I think these are perfect for hanging different lights for year round use. The only drawback would be they are clear so you can see the adhesive backing and the tab to remove the clips. If you are hanging lights from the interior side of a porch, this would not be an issue.

I used these clips for hanging things around my balcony in a very hot, humid, and rainy climate and they are staying up nice and strong. Very happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these things. They make putting up lights SO easy! And the results are better too! No more drooping light strings. They work VERY well, but you MUST follow the directions exactly for cleaning surfaces before attaching the clips. They will not adhere and stay adhered if you don't. It's easy to do, but I think some people just don't bother and that's why they're disappointed when their lights don't stay up as they should. All in all, an excellent product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girlfriend decided to redo the porch this summer and of course, that involved multiple strands of bright colors lights. These were the right tool for the job, giving her ability to hang lights where we hadn't had a way to. 5-10 minutes of my time, and she easily hung them right behind me. Had a few storms come through, high winds and heavy rain, and they're still in place. I think we'll leave them up and use them for Halloween and Christmas too.

I bought these for Christmas 2013 to hang my mini lights in the windows. They worked great! The problem came for Christmas 2014. I searched everywhere for replacement strips and couldn't find them. I called your company and the guy said that I didn't need the clear refill strips and that, because I was using them inside the windows, that I could use the white refills. I went to Home Depot and bought the white refills and they worked fine until it came time to remove them. They will not come off. If the refills that work are not very affordable or available, then why buy these clips. I will not recommend these to anyone.

I first used these outdoor light clips to hang garland and lights around my front door which is partially protected by a porch the first Christmas in this house. Since they blended in with the white trim, I left the clips up over the summer. I am very pleased to say, I just put up my garland and lights for the sixth consecutive Christmas season! They are fabulous.

The Command™ Outdoor Light Clips filled both my needs. I will use it for the holidays to clip my lights every two feet. You must follow the directions, take your time, wait the hour before hanging the lights, and it's like magic. I have used the clips for cables that were laying low against the house outside. Much neater now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clips work very well. The clips have a wide opening which can accommodate good sized wires like the thickness of an indoor extension cord. They adhere well. Removal is easy and did not damage the painted walls.

I had good luck with indoor clips last year and was excited to see an outdoor line, which I thought would allow me to put strings of mini-lights around my windows without using nails or otherwise causing damage. I followed the installation instructions carefully, but the adhesive does not stick to the aluminum cladding around the windows. Nearly all the clips popped off when I tried to install mini light strings. Temp at the time was around 45F. A waste of money.
