My back porch lights were sagging, so I used these to tighten them up. So much better then the string we were using! These things seem impervious to weather and I'm confident that my lights will stay up and pretty for a long time. You really can't go wrong with Command products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my strings of lights to be straight. These clear clips do a great job with the style of string lights with the plastic-covered wires. For my tiny LEDs on thin wires I use another Command Brand clip. These need to come in much larger quantities. The pack of 16 was only enough to hang lights around one of my windows.

The Command™ Outdoor Light Clips filled both my needs. I will use it for the holidays to clip my lights every two feet. You must follow the directions, take your time, wait the hour before hanging the lights, and it's like magic. I have used the clips for cables that were laying low against the house outside. Much neater now.

I had no trouble following the instructions to hang the hooks and I was hanging them on brick. They were instantly secure enough to hang my string of lights on. I love how they are clear plastic so they blend in. I am definitely excited about this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girlfriend decided to redo the porch this summer and of course, that involved multiple strands of bright colors lights. These were the right tool for the job, giving her ability to hang lights where we hadn't had a way to. 5-10 minutes of my time, and she easily hung them right behind me. Had a few storms come through, high winds and heavy rain, and they're still in place. I think we'll leave them up and use them for Halloween and Christmas too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wishing someone would make this type of product for years now. I used them to hang holiday lights on my vinyl fence, they worked splendidly! The only problem now is that they're hard to find at stores...

After carefully following instructions I strung up my outdoor lights only to have clips fall from surface. The clip itself is a nice design, but adhesive material isn’t strong enough to hold icicle lights. They are rated at -20 degrees while I was working in + 32 degrees. Not worth it. I used alcohol to clean the smooth, flat surface prior to application.

I bought these to put lights up outside.Since we recently moved into our new home a few months ago and are now able to decorate with lights outside. They are great but from reading some of the reviews I wonder if some of these people didn't read the directions. Clean area with rubbing alcohol, attach the clips, one every TWO feet, and WAIT ONE HOUR before attaching lights. I followed the instructions to the letter and have not had any problems at all.

I bought these clips so that my daughter could hang rope lights on her bedroom wall. The clips worked great for the original intended purpose. Fast forward a month to the holiday season and I again purchased the clips to hang Christmas lights on the inside of my windows in the living room. We cleaned the windows as required and none of the strips lasted longer than 30 seconds. Same strips, 2 different environments and unfortunately they worked well in one area and not another. Back to the hunt for decent window light hooks.
