This so much better than the supermarket canisters. However, it must be refrigerated from the getgo. I kkep a jar in the fridge and freeze the bulk of it for freshnesss.

After our trip to Rome, I was desperate to make cacio e pepe and carbonara. Important step: get the right cheese. This was a steal, and it’s worth every penny. Big plus for me is not having to grate cheese on a tight schedule.

Excellent cheese product for Italian sauce and for adding to many recipes. It's also hard to find in grated form. Many places only sell it shredded which does not work for me. So glad Sam's has it. But It's not available in store only for pickup which I think stinks.

The ONLY grated cheese to cook with! MUCH better flavor and meltability than Parmesan. Can never find the "good stuff" in Denver without going to a specialty store or grating myself. I use a package of this per month. Cannot cook my Italian without it.

Great when available- otherwise buy same in chunk and grind. Like saltiness and flavor over Parmesano reggiano sp? If I grind chunks, I'll add 1 Parmesan to 3 pecorino Romano. Only buy imported in these cheeses

Overall bang for the buck it's really tasty and there's no artificial ingredients just cheese and easier than dealing with the block cuz you don't have to grate it

We LOVE this fresh blend of cheese. It has better flavor vs plain parmesan. The only problem is the cost. They shrunk the size of the bag, and increased the cost. So I have to RATION this cheese and remind my family not to put too much of it on their pasta. Unfortunately, this cheese is not available at the Sam’s Club I regularly shop at. It’s available at another location 45 minutes from where we live.

This cheese will do. I would prefer the Locatelli block of cheese and grate it myself, this way I know there are no fillers or additives. I don't know why Sam's club isn't carrying the Locatelli brand anymore.
