I was a little concerned switching from an innerspring to a memory foam type of mattress however with the Pro Adapt Hybrid, it literally is the best of both worlds! Great edge support as well as great comfort from the hybrid mattress. I have slept very well since day one on this mattress and am so glad that I purchased it along with the Ergo Extend adjustable base. You know you made the right choice when you have complete and uninterrupted sleep, and awake refreshed and ready to start the day!

From the perspective of a lightweight person, the "soft" mattress is a great balance between firm edges and just enough "sink" while you're sleeping. Have had it for 6 months and it's still just as comfortable as day one. Highly recommend.

Im typically a stomach sleeper but I can toss and turn, I usually wake up when I toss and turn but not with this mattress I can find myself waking up on my side in the morning on a full night's rest! It's supportive to cradle my whole body, even on my back it feels comfortable and I'm not that big of a back sleeper! highly recommended.

First impression upon lying down was that it was too firm, but almost immediately we realized it was extremely comfortable. We've owned this now for 3 weeks and we have never slept better. No more backaches or shoulder aches and it is easy to get out of bed in the morning. Couldn't be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been using this Tempur-pedicure Pro-Adapt soft mattress for about one week now. This mattress has extreme memory foam. When you sleep on it you do feel yourself sink down into the mattress and conform to your body. It also has a cooling top which helps you stay cooler at night if you are a hot sleeper. This is a nice mattress and it does feel good but i feel It is pretty expensive! If you are looking for a quality mattress and have the money to try this I would recommend trying it out. When you lay on the mattress you get the feeling as if you were in a sound proof room. Your movements are not free raged all over the bed. It's more like your body is absorbed where you lie, and it feels like a very slow quick sand until you fall asleep. It takes like 6 to 7 months to really soften up to your sleep positions, but is still firm enough to support your back. If you have an adjustable base it will not conform as well as the softer mattresses because it is Firm. Unless, you use the new lumbar support adjustable base by TempurPedic. Although, while laying down, it flexes some; it needs body weight. I have tried several mattresses from Sleep Number, to Purple mattresses even Hybrid mattresses and Organic mattresses. Tempur pedic is the best one, especially if you have joint pain, musculoskeletal issues and fibromyalgia this is the mattress for you. Also, if you have sensitive skin it is great since it doesn't compress the skin, is dust-mite resistant and less likely to attract bedbugs. I chose a Firm mattress, because I know over time the mattresses get softer. Also, I didn't want to have to buy another mattress for a very long time. Of course you choose one to your own comfort and needs. I do recommend you go to a Tempur Pedic store first and try the different types, do your homework before you make a selection. Remember your bed is the one place you go to release, relax and rest..choose it well. Its the one investment you won't regret!

I am in love with my mattress. It only took one night to get used to it and now I enjoy going to bed again. We had a tempur-pedic mattress for 20 years and it finally began to break down. We purchased another brand because tempur-pedics are so expensive. It was like a nightmare. I began to hate going to bed. We only kept it for under 6 months. Now we are truly sure that tempur-pedic is the mattress for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the hunt for a new mattress when Tempur-Pedic sent me this one for free in exchange for an honest review. My husband and I both prefer a soft mattress and we were excited to give this one a shot. It did not disappoint! While it seemed fairly firm at first, it relaxed over a couple of days to become super cozy while still being supportive. (It also took a couple of days to lose the factory scent, but it was never too bad and I just left the window open the first day.) When you lie down, your body slowly sinks into the foam top until you are perfectly supported. I sleep on my stomach and my husband sleeps on his back and we are both feeling fresh in the mornings. We have been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks and we are pretty happy. My one gripe is that the top is very smooth and my sheets will occasionally slip right off over the corners, but it's not an issue I would deduct any stars for. Fresh sheets feel nice and crisp over the smooth surface. It's very warm out but the mattress seems to stay fairly cool. If you like a soft bed, give this one a shot!
