[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very hesitant on buying this mattress because it's quite the investment...but let me tell you! This mattress was made by the GODS. It is the perfect combination of plush and firm because it is more of a medium firm. You kind of just sink in just enough for it to mold to your shape and body. Every single person that has laid down on this mattresses wishes they had one themselves...true story. If you can afford it, don't even hesitate like I did. I have a herniated lumbar disc that is extremely annoying and affects every single aspect of my life and Tempur-Pedic has helped me with my back pain and with the quality of sleep. I LOVE my mattress.

Having owned Tempur-Pedic products since 2000 and having to replace our 23 year old Tempur-Pedic we were amazed at the new things offered. We have opted to get the split king as we are in our 70s and would have the best beds if we were to become bed bound. We have the Split King with the Tempur-Pedic-Ergo Extend Smart Base. Best of the best. We had a regular Tempur-Pedic king on a regular frame for 23 years. If this great set up lasts us as long we will be totally thrilled. Sleeping like a baby in this new bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second TempurPedic mattress and we are very happy with the quality and feel of the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt Firm mattress. The mattress is very supportive and comfortable. Years of back pain had me searching for a better mattress and TempurPedic was the answer. We ordered directly from the TempurPedic website and was very happy with the customer support we received. All my questions were answered thoroughly via the online chat and on the phone and the sales associate was very friendly and professional. I would like to mention that this mattress is higher than a traditional mattress and will effect the choice of foundation. A 9" traditional foundation with this mattress will be quite high. We opted for a 5" traditional foundation as our bedroom set is more traditional, and the height was just right. We will continue to purchase and recommend these wonderful mattress to our family and friends.

This mattress is really the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. Definitely worth that price. However, I sleep hot naturally and I should have gone with the 8 degree cooler version. I thought the cooling cover was enough when I tried it out at the store. It's not.

This is our second Tempur Pedic mattress so we were aware of the 90 day break in period. Honestly did not need this period, mattress was comfortable from day one. Good nights sleep back on track! And really did not have any memory foam odor that is associated with memory foam mattresses. Our first Tempur Pedic was one of the first generations and literally weighted a ton. So changing the sheets are no longer a dreaded chore. And the option to remove the cover and wash is a definite plus. Last model was a "pillow top" and we did a warranty claim. Customer service is EXTREMELY easy to work with and really had our best interest in mind. Made the warranty claim very easy and seamless. We are so happy with this mattress and have already had two friends switch after going to the showroom and trying them out. My co-worker and her husband purchased the same model but in soft. Little too cushy for us, but they love it compared to their last highly advertised bed! 100% recommend this mattress. You will not be disappointed and you can try them out in a showroom unlike some models sold on TV.

When our mattress first arrived, I was surprised at the lack of 'bounce' in the mattress. After just a few nights, however, I realized how wonderful it was for my husband and I. One of us could get in and out of bed or even toss and turn a bit without the other one waking up. We've been sleeping more soundly. The first night I got into bed, I sank down into the mattress and worried I'd be stiff when I woke up, but that is absolutely not the case. I haven't had any uncomfortability with the mattress. We absolutely love it!

We purchased a top of the line Doctor's Choice, but after using it for 4 months, we upgraded to the Tempurpedic Luxe Adapt Soft. My husband needs good support, but a soft mattress for his chronic back problems. We have had the Tempurpedic for over a month now, and are finally able to sleep comfortably again. It was worth the money for us. The sticker shock is now behind us, and I believe this mattress is going to hold up for a long time.

This new mattress is so comfortable, I cannot feel any pain when I'm laying on it, and my back even feels better during the day! It really has been life changing for me, and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat!

I've been struggling with a neck and shoulders issue + TMJ, where everything tenses up badly. I've gone through several different types of beds ( serta firm, air mattress etc ) This is the first mattress that has truly helped relax my stiff muscles rather than exacerbating the situation further. It hasn't cured me of course, but it's gone a long way in alleviating my symptoms. Actual good night's rest of neck and shoulders has made a huge difference. I am on the lighter side ( 115 lb ) so I think the soft is perfect for me. Shipping was frustratingly longer than anticipated, and the delivery men did not know how to actually set up the bed base ( so now I need to wait for additional service people to come out...- also frustratingly slow) but in the meantime I've slept on the mattress, and thus far it has been well worth the wait for the product. It has been so comfortable in fact, that I barely find myself moving once settled. It's made sleeping on my back easier ( a necessary adjustment I've had to make ) , but is also soft enough for rare times I side sleep.

We purchased their Celebrity mattress 17 years ago and it was getting time to replace it. We replaced it with a Nectar mattress, but returned it after 2 months due to waking up every morning with excruciating back pain. We replaced the Nectar mattress with a Tempurpedic Adapt hybrid mattress and after 1 1/2 months it just didn't do anything for us. It wasn't uncomfortable, but we missed that sink in feeling we've known for 17 years. I loved going to bed every night on the Celebrity mattress. After speaking with customer service, they said the Luxe Adapt Firm would be more similar to the Celebrity so they offered a free exchange and we paid the difference. The Luxe Adapt is a very comfortable and I "almost" look forward to going to bed every night. It does have some of that sink in feeling, but nothing like the Celebrity. I think if there was a pillow top on the Luxe Adapt, it would have that same exact feel, but I'm not ready to take the risk since the pillow tops are not returnable. Is it worth over $4000? I guess so. We paid $5000 for our king size Celebrity 17 years ago so I guess this is a bargain :) Overall, we like it a lot and glad we paid the extra $1000 over the Adapt. One thing to note is it does appear to be smaller than other king size mattresses we've owned because it doesn't fill out the entire king size bed frame. Our Nectar and Adapt king mattresses fit the frame fine, but the Luxe Adapt leaves about 1"-2" all around the frame.
