So far this has not been a purchase I'd repeat. The first few nights were unbearably hot. We changed over to cotton sheets and that helped a little. Keep in mind my house is usually around 65 degrees at night. I can't really tell if it is outgassing or allergies, but my eyes are beat red in the morning and my neck has been sore. My wife is worse being up for hours every night. I talked to Temperpedic customer service today and they told me to lean the mattress next to an open window. Their other option was to spend even more for a breeze model. After spending close to $5k already another brand is likely in my future.

I got our LuxeAdapt a few weeks ago and could not be happier with our selection! Our old mattress was 10+ years ago so it was time for an update and my goodness - it has been a dream to sleep on! The amazing design allows me to fall asleep so much faster and for longer periods too. Even with my light sleeping habits, I hardly wake up to any movements from my husband's side with their motion canceling technology. I chose the firm option and wouldn't have it any other way. It gives me the firm support I need, but still molds to my body to alleviate those pressure points. Even my husband has been raving about how refreshed he feels in the morning thanks to our new LuxeAdapt. If you're thinking about investing in a Tempur-Pedic, do it! Our old mattress was also a Tempur so you know I'm a true fan of their brand and quality products. I guess I did not realize how much I needed a new mattress, and most of all: I never dreamed I would buy a foam matress. This mattress is so comfortable, and I was told it may take a while to break it in. There was no breaking in ever with the Tempur-pedic Luxadapt SOFT. My insomnia went away and I now sleep later. It was expensive, but worth the investment. The only con is that you do not want to sleep right on the edge, as your body sinks down on the foam and you could slide out of bed. Just move over some. No big deal. Also, the ease makes a big difference too. If I lift my legs up a small amount, it gently pushes my lower back into the mattress, and that gives me great back relief while sleeping and when I wake up.

We lost our first Tempur-Pedic in the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA and when we purchased our new home it was the first thing we ordered. I honestly don't think I could sleep on another kind of mattress. We have the split-king and I recommend it as no two people are the same. My husband actually liked our first bed better but I think he's a little off. Lol. This mattress is awesome!

After just receiving our 5th mattress set in 18 years I think I can finally say, 'This is the best and our Last!' We both have bad backs and with other mattresses 3-4 hours after going to sleep we are awake and in pain. With Tempur-pedic we have made 6 to 8 hours before we'd waken. You definitely get what you pay for, and while they are expensive you really get what you wanted. Try them first.

In the summer/fall I bought a LuxeAdapt soft. Slept on it for right at the full 90 day trial period. It was entirely too soft so I returned it and used my one return option to go with the LuxeAdapt firm. What a big mistake!! It is way to firm. There is no medium in this model and I could not swap out a 2nd time so I am stuck with it. What a hugh waste of money! I am having a lot of trouble with sciatica and other leg and back problems and I'm sure it is from sleeping on this mattress. I wish I had never bought it!!

Best mattress I've ever owned period. Had another Temper-pedicure that lasted me 15 years and I never thought it would get better than that. Then comes along the Luxeadapt and I was wrong. My only minor gripe would be that it gets VERY hot. Small price to pay for sleeping on a cloud.

Fixn to retire and getting my must haves out of the way. Number 1 was a new Harley Road King. Number 2 was a new Tempurpedic. I have slept on tempupedics for 10 years and they just get better. This one is the best so far. Other mattresses in my world do not compete(In any way). Pricey but well worth it! Now for number 3.......

First of all, let me start by saying how grateful and lucky I feel to be able to try out a mattress such as this one. I have always dreamed of one day owning one but could never quite afford it. Having poor blood circulation, RLS, and chronic lower back pain makes life hard, especially getting a good night's rest. I'm a firm believer that it is crucial to get enough sleep to function and live a healthy, active life. I always tossed and turned, and could never find a soft enough mattress to adapt to the high arch in my back and allow me to rest on my back for very long. My legs would go numb and throb to the point I would have to get up and walk around for awhile. This mattress truly came at a time in my life where I didn't even realize how much I needed this. The moment I first laid in it, I felt so much relief that I cannot even put into words. I had chills and truly felt like the weight had been lifted off of me. The way in which this mattress adapts and conforms to your body, is unlike any other. It fits like a glove. To be thoroughly honest, if you are like me and are desperate for something that will give you some much needed pressure relief after being on your feet all day, you will not be disappointed. I highly encourage you to invest in a mattress that will adapt to YOU! It is a decision you will wish you made alot sooner. I am forever grateful and soooo excited to get into bed every night!! We were sleeping on 18 year temperpeudic Cal King mattresses. We had aged and with my fibromyalgia I hurt all over.We bought the softest mattress and it has helped my sleeping. My only complaint is that the new mattress is higher than the previous one and I have a difficult time getting in and out of bed.
