[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stearns and Foster kindly gave me this mattress for free so that I could review it, through the BzzAgent sampling program. This is a pretty fantastic mattress, it offers lots of support, you can tell it's very high quality. The mattress I was sleeping on before was only two years old and never offered this type of support, this mattress literally hugs your body and doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Me and my Beau, both have been sleeping on this mattress and have been sleeping much better and more soundly, my Beau has said his back and legs hurt less since we started using this mattress, it's also much quicker to get comfortable which has resulted in less tossing and turning. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a new mattress, that is not only comfortable but provides support, it's worth every penny. The mattress itself is very luxurious looking, it has a nice blue and a beautiful pattern on the pillow top, you can see how high quality the stitching is and the soft handles make it very easy to move, it is a bit heavy-duty but I think that adds to the fact it's made to last. It seems bigger then my previous queen mattress which is amazing and really gives the space needed. You can sit bounce roll and it's all cushiony and cozy. The soft top was exactly what I needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I laid on this mattress it relieved pressure in my back I never realized was there. I've always been a hybrid on wanting soft with slight firmness but this is the first time I've experienced a firm mattress and I never want to go back. Well worth the wait.

After only a few weeks of use, this mattress the "Ellria" does not feel any better than the 16 year old Sears posturepedic mattress that I was replacing. When sitting on the edge there is a creaking sound every time you move. This mattress does not have good pressure point support after sleeping on it for a few hours. When first getting into bed it feels okay but within hours the top is condensed to feeling like you are on a board. Not the sleep or rest I expected for the price. I will never buy another Sterns and Foster. Many of the reviews I have read recently say that it they have had difficulty with the warranty. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

We bought our Sterns and Foster mattress 6 years ago. About 3 years ago, despite turning the mattress every 3-6 months and buying a box spring suggested by a salesman, we noticed that the mattress started developing dips. Now the dips are even deeper. The mattress was never really comfortable and now it is unbearable to sleep on. I have never had to replace a mattress this quickly!

We purchased a King size S&F Estate pillowtop soft with box springs about 1 yr ago. I read where SF Box Spring were extra beefy and supportive. The box springs are horrible, slapped together, some fabric not stapled. Our first set of box springs were so defective SF replaced. The mattress store sold us twin XL box springs for a king mattress. The Box springs always seem to be shifting and not sturdy enough for the mattress creating a moving noise when you turnover. Im reading now that we should have a one piece box spring, not twins. I hate calling the mattress store again after the first complaint they are not very friendly.

I tried this for 30 days and I do not like all the memory foam in this mattress, it's too hot to sleep, I sweat all night long and I am used to a traditional innerspring mattress, and I do not like that there is no bounce back or is really slow to bounce back, the memory foam is very prominent. This mattress was not soft enough for me (my body would fall asleep if I was sleeping on my side and my shoulder would hurt) but may have been if it weren't for all the memory foam. I do have issues with back/neck pain. This was a good quality mattress and I hope Stearns and Foster changes or adds a model that doesn't have so much memory foam in a soft TT or soft pillowtop that is affordable. I would hope to try this in the future because it seems like a well-made mattress and I never experienced what they were like before Tempur-Pedic acquired them, maybe I would have liked them then but couldn't afford it at the time. Hope this helps someone, and I hope Tempur-Pedic can make a mattress without so much memory foam!

The overall quality is completely lacking on this mattress; there are pulled threads hanging off all over the pillow top and around the seams where the pillow top is sewed on, and there's at least one (that I've noticed so far) small hole in the fabric - absolutely not up to the level of quality you'd expect for a $3000+ mattress or from Stearns and Foster. And I'm not talking about a thread here or there, there's at least a dozen that I counted before giving up counting...they're literally all over the top of the mattress; the mattress was purchased brand new and delivered about 3 weeks after it's build date on the legal tag - can only assume this is a quality control problem. Functionally the mattress is comfortable and supportive except I notice myself sinking into the pillow top to a level I didn't perceive in the store - not a great sensation for me personally.

I have chronic pain. My new bed has helped greatly. I can more easily get comfortable when trying to fall asleep. Before I got this bed, morning was especially painful because my muscles were always stiff and it took some time to work out the tightness. Now this is less of an issue. I am very happy with my purchase.

I started off with a Bed Tech copper lux soft mattress. We had a cold winter and my bedroom became cold. The Bed Tech mattress turned hard as a brick. I was miserable. I then tried a medium firmness Tempur-Pedic supreme overlay for the Bed Tech mattress. I I was miserable because it was too firm. I then tried an Adapt Tempur-Pedic overlay for the mattress. That was not comfortable either. I then went with a Saatva overlay for the mattress. That did not work and was not soft enough. Saatva then told me to order a feather overlay for the Saatva overlay mattress. I was sent two and both of them were contaminated with horrible odors that I could not use. I was so uncomfortable that I decided to get rid of everything and start all over again. I went with a full Estate soft pillow top. I love it. At first it was somewhat firmer than I liked but I have had it now for about 40 days and it is getting very soft and comfortable. I am now comfortable and am looking forward to going to bed rather than dreading it. It was expensive and a big financial burden but it is worth a good nights sleep.
