We were in need of a new mattress (ours was 18 years old) and in very bad condition. After doing some research, we decided on a Firm, pillow top. We've had it for 2 months, and already the mattress is sagging. We decided to go with a Sterns and Foster because of the reviews and it seemed like the Top of the Line product. $3,000 + and we are sorely disappointed. I'm happy there was a 120 day guarantee with it, we will go back to the store and select a different mattress. It took 10 years for our old mattress to start failing, this took 2 months. It started out really good, we slept better, felt supported, now we feel like we're on a hill toward the center. We will not choose the mattress without the pillow top for fear it will do the same thing. We will chooses a different brand, Sadly.

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. My mattress was about 6 years old and I was waking up to hip and back pain every day, so I was in the market for a new mattress. This mattress is heavy, and the fabric is soft. At first I was concerned that it would be too firm, as it is much firmer than my old mattress. However, the firmness must be what I needed. This mattress is not too firm at all and provides really good support for my hips and back. I am finding that I am sleeping better, waking up less during the night in pain and waking up in the morning with almost no pain. I would definitely recommend this mattress to those looking for a firm and supportive option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is beautiful made. I really enjoyed the straps on the side of the mattress. Straps make it easier to lift and pull the mattress. This mattress sits higher than what I'm used to so it took some time getting adjusted in and out of bed. I will make say there were stitches or loss strings in the mattress that should have been cut before selling. Major plus my back feels great so far.

I am 62 and bought the Estate Collection Firm Pillow Top mattress with adjustable frame 127 days ago. My old mattress was soft and caused back and hip pain so I opted for the mattress with the firm topper. I am a back and side sleeper. Although the mattress initially felt comfortable and luxurious it started agitating my back and hips and I feel pain within 10 minutes of getting up in the morning that lasts all day. Unfortunately, I cannot return the mattress (trial period expired) and it was a very expensive purchase for me. I'm considering buying a Tempur-Pedic topper to see if that gives my back and hips some relief. I wish I had purchased a mattress with a medium topper instead. The medium one may have given me that hotel level luxury sleep I was striving for.

I tried this for 30 days and I do not like all the memory foam in this mattress, it's too hot to sleep, I sweat all night long and I am used to a traditional innerspring mattress, and I do not like that there is no bounce back or is really slow to bounce back, the memory foam is very prominent. This mattress was not soft enough for me (my body would fall asleep if I was sleeping on my side and my shoulder would hurt) but may have been if it weren't for all the memory foam. I do have issues with back/neck pain. This was a good quality mattress and I hope Stearns and Foster changes or adds a model that doesn't have so much memory foam in a soft TT or soft pillowtop that is affordable. I would hope to try this in the future because it seems like a well-made mattress and I never experienced what they were like before Tempur-Pedic acquired them, maybe I would have liked them then but couldn't afford it at the time. Hope this helps someone, and I hope Tempur-Pedic can make a mattress without so much memory foam!

I received the mattress and it seems like it already has sinking. It was not this way in the store. I put something across the mattress and you see where it is sinking already! So tired of this happening! I haven't had this mattress but 4 months. You can make this situation better if you use this information. Needs replaced!!!!

I have only had this mattress for a few weeks, still adjusting to the difference from my last mattress. As of today, I am very happy with my new mattress. My last mattress was a Simmons Fawndale Medium. I ordered the mattress March of 2019 and it only lasted 3 years before it started to sag.
