First, I bought a pair of the tan colored shorts. They were great - great price, great fit, SUPER COMFORTABLE because the fabric has some stretch to it. I liked them so much that I ordered the blue and grey colors. Someone who understands sewing and how to make clothes would know exactly how to describe what the problem is. I, on the other hand, will say this - something ain't right with how the blue and grey shorts are sewn together. lol Seriously uncomfortable! The seam in the rear has a strange kind of curve to it that makes the shorts feel like they're twisted. To put it another way, assume your butt crack is a straight line from top to bottom. The seam that I am taking about should also run straight down your butt, just like the crack. Nope! The seam runs along the crack for a while, but then it takes a detour and runs along side the butt crack. A little further down, the seam shifts back towards the center. Hopefully, you are painting a lovely mental picture of some shifty, twisted, really uncomfortable shorts that I guess weren't sewn together properly. Anyway, the grey shorts have the same problem. I really wish they all fit like the tan ones. They're awesome. Something else I noticed - the center belt loops in the rear of the tan shorts are a little over 3” apart, the blue shorts are a little closer together, and the loops on the grey shorts are only about 1.5” apart. So, what? Exactly! I don't know if it has anything to do with why the shorts are so uncomfortable, but it's kind of odd that the exact same shorts in the same size have such a difference. Who knows? The bottom line is, if your butt crack is curved instead of straight, you're going to love these shorts!!!

Love the shorts for the most part. I bought 4 pairs one of each color. I work for outside, so they're great in the summer when it's hot. Only downside to them is the zipper side pocket. If you put anything in them, make sure you have it zipped. Otherwise whatever you put in there, plan on losing. I wish it had a bit more depth in the pocket. Other than that great fit and excellent material.

Hurley Trek Hybrid Shorts exceeded my expectations. They fit true to size in the waist, as well as in the length, coming in at just above the knee. Front pockets are well positioned and deep enough to be useful. Stitching was adequate with no frayed ends or loose threads. Back pocket left is a fake pocket, while the right pocket is a true functional pocket. There is a zippered small pocket on the left thigh area, which likely will be of little use. The shorts waistband is made of a stretchy elastic like material, which is the nicest part, allowing a perfect fit even if you gain or lose a few pounds. Product is well fit in the buttocks area, as well as in the groin, with no tight fitting or stretching areas. Would recommend!

Would have given a 5 but they are too big in the waist. I wear a 34 in jeans and the 36 is too big. So, buy the size you wear in jeans and you will be good. Besides that, they are really good looking and the quality is fantastic. Perfect for golfing or as a nice all around pair of shorts

These orange sherbet colored shorts by Hurley are the perfect summer shorts. They are thin & breathable yet very stylish. They fit true to size in the waist along with a very comfortable waistband. These shorts are water repellent as well as having great stretch for outdoor activities. Zippers on the pockets are a huge bonus!

Very nice, high quality shorts! Look almost professional, but have a good bit of stretch, so they shape to your waist and legs for a comfortable, but snug fit. Love wearing them around the house or out on the town!

Nice and looks fancy, tested against the weather today, and it felt good without issues, also like the comfortability and how it helps with moving around with the semi elastic fabric, looking forward to wearing this for a while next summer.

Amazing shorts! Light material and easy packing! Great length and a little stretch in the waist. Great shorts for multiple occasions. Need a new pair of shorts..buy these and you will be back for a second and third pair!

I bought the black, khaki, orange, and blue ones available at my local store. I want the grey color, but they aren't available in my store and I'm not paying $12 for shipping. These shorts are really nice though. They feel really well made and are super light and comfortable. I like that I can wear them with just a T-shirt in the summer, and they also look nice enough to wear with a polo or button up shirt.
