I was so glad to see that the new truck I purchased in 2006 came with Michelin LTX tires. I had used up two sets of Michelin tires on my old truck and currently are on our second set of Michelins on my wife's station wagon. We are completely satisfied with every aspect of these tires.

These replaced OE Goodyear RS-A’s. One of the Goodyear’s suffered a belt separation and complete failure while towing. The Defender’s have a more comfortable ride and better traction, particularly in the rain. This Michelin was a significant upgrade.

Michelin tires are so reliable that my husband and I won't buy any other brand for our vehicles. They make the ride smooth and perform with excellence on wet roads. Here in Florida, the roads can turn treacherous at times due the so called "Florida ice", but we are confident our Michelin tires will always keep us safe. I replaced the stock tires on my Dodge Ram Hemi truck at 20,000 miles with Michelin 20 inch LTX M/S due to the fact they handled so poorly when it rained. The stock tires had become quite dangerous on a wet road due to hydroplaning, failure to stop and oversteer at low speeds as if I was driving on ice. They were very easy to break traction with on a dry road as well. The tires still appeared brand new and had plenty of tread left and had always been poor performers from the time the truck was new. The new Michelin tires made me feel like I was driving a different truck and all the problems I had been encountering in wet conditions were solved. The LTX M/S performs wonderfully well on a wet road and are pretty difficult to break loose on a dry road. The handling characteristics are superb and when you consider the mileage rating, Michelins cannot be beat.

i saved for nearly a year to purchase these tires. they look so nice and all weather was what i needed sooo badly. Im looking forward to finally riding with something on my auto that isnt used or wore out so they was more than just tires to me they was a blessing. i needed desperately. im sooo proud to ride around with them on my auto Thanks soo much michelin for making such great tires

This is my second set of LTX M/S tires. My first set lasted for nearly 90,000 miles. There are on a 2006 Honda Elements. I drove a lot of interstate miles. There really grip the road in the rain. Snow performance is excellent. I would strongly recommend these tires.

These tires have gone 72,000 miles and I am currently debating buying new ones even though my mechanic says I am nuts and will probably get at least another 20,000 out of them.I have nothing but tremendous praise for the Michelin engineers . I have been buying Michelin tires exclusively for over 28 years and have to say as a former tire salesman , NOTHING BEATS A MICHELIN !!!!!!!

I'm 69 and have used Michelins exclusively for as long as I can remember. We have 2 vehicles, a1996 Ford F-150 and a 1997 Ford Expedition. These vehicles have a combined mileage of close to 400,000 and have been Michelin equipped since new. The tires wear like iron and yet offer an extremely comfortable and quiet ride, providing superior wet weather driveability.

These tires are worth their weight in gold when it comes to durabilty, wear, and ride. I used to only buy Michelin tires until the economy made me feel that I needed to buy a cheaper brand tires. The cheaper tires actually cost me more money over the long run in poor wear and ride. Since putting the Michelin's back on my truck, it handles 100% better.

These tired have been on my 1997 Chevy 1500 for several years and probably near 100000 miles. My driving is mostly on good paved roads in Mississippi. Usually hot and dry or hot and wet conditions. Not much ice and snow. Have not had any problems with these tires. Highly recommend the LTX M/X tires.
