I bought this generator so we won't be in the heat and dark with a future hurricane/power outage (we live in Florida). This generator delivers a lot of "bang for the buck": great output, run time/efficiency, gauges for a reasonable price.

Got this as a whole home back up for my 1,700 sqft house. Installed a magnetic dip stick and added oil. Haven’t had a chance to do the break in procedure. Started right up when I did run it for 5 minutes. Didn’t have excessive metal in the oil.

I purchased this generator for power outages caused by a weather event because we live in a rural area. I am impressed at the quality of this generator. Have only used it once but it worked flawlessly.

After the break in period, we had a power grid go down. Did not have the inlet power box installed yet. But with a couple drop cords, we kept the frig/freezer,lights and fans going. So far very pleased. And the remote fob is great !!
