They can be baked directly into products like cookies, brownies, cupcakes, blondies and so no. They keep their lovely crunch when baked and stay just as delicious! The picture I've used is of my Oreo thick stuffed cookies! I scrape the filling from the cookies, break the cookie up and mix into the dough, I then take the vanilla cream from the Oreo and mix it with white chocolate spread to fill the cookies and they turn out delicious! When I used to purchase regular Oreo cookies, they had a decent amount of filling. When I would buy the Double Stuff Oreo cookies, they were really full and delicious!! These days there's hardly any filling in the regular Oreos and the Double Stuffed Oreos are about as full as how the original ones used to be!! And now they have Mega Stuffed Oreos? Those are how the Double Stuffed Oreos used to be.....
