The sharpness and glide of this razor is great and doesn’t leave a stubble. Also it doesn’t give me skin irritation, which is something I get when I don’t use a good blade. Overall 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venus Smooth razor is a pretty decent option all around. The handle is comfortable to hold and has a nice grip, unlike the super cheap angular plastic options around, and it's quite a bit cheaper than options that have a built in shave bar. It does have a "lubri-strip" at the top which also serves as a decent visual indicator of when the razor head should be replaced. The strip needs to be activated with water and does a good job of keeping the razor gliding in small areas (like armpits or ankles) but I need to use a shaving cream or gel to do a larger area like my legs or it drags. I do have very dry skin though, so this might be less of a problem for others. The handle is reusable and you can buy refill heads to reduce plastic waste and the cost, too--I've actually been working my way through a pack of refills on an old handle when I received this from Influenster. I like that the back of the razor head is open and exposed, it makes it easier to clean it out if it gets clogged with hair (again, versus some of the shave bar razors that end up being trash-worthy in this way even before the blades have dulled or the bar has been used up). I'll still use a shave bar razor for my legs because I don't like the mess of shaving cream, but these are a good enough option to keep around for maintaining smaller shaved areas. It also travels well because of the smaller profile and razor head, plus each head or refill comes in a pod that guards the blades.

This is a great razor! With its sharp blades and soft bar around the blades it lets you get super close to the hair. It’s also nice because it does not require you to use shaving cream. It’s completely affordable and you can find it anywhere it has no scent

I like the ergonomic design of this razor it helps me to get a smooth shave. It’s hard and it seems to be pretty durable. I’m a fan of Gillette’s and they always keep improving their products. I also love the blue color of it, it’s so pretty even though I know it’s not important for the shaving at all.

It may not be very hygienic but I have had my one razor for 3 months and every time I use it it's like I just took it right out of the box. I haven't found a razor that would come close to that! The Gillette Venus is contoured to fit a woman's hand in the position we use for shaving. I never had to use shaving lotion or gel the amount in the strip has lasted this long. I also have very sensitive skin and it leaves absolutely no irritation marks even under my arms! I actually didn't even purchase this one, my mother in law gave it to me because it was late at night and I wanted one when I was pregnant so she gave me this one. Now I swear by it! I love it and would definitely recommend to anyone. P.S. My husband even uses it!

I will definitely be purchasing more razor heads to this razor because of how much I like it. I’m never going back to my old razor brand!
