I always get a really close shave with the Venus and never have problems with nicks and cuts. Because of this I would recommend it to anyone who is just starting to shave. The only thing I would change if I could is I would make the handle a little slimmer and less bulky - however it is nice and lightweight so that's another plus.

Compared to the larger Venus, this one contours much, much better - especially in those tight spaces. My skin is left feeling smooth for at least two days. Dip razor in alcohol after using to keep it super sharp.

I honestly think the best part about this is the minimal plastic packaging. There aren't many razors in the store that aren't surrounded by a crazy amount of useless plastic packaging. So, it's nice to see a company trying to be more sustainable!

My hair grows back fast so this razor was great for a quick shave when needed. My legs felt smooth and soft. I really like this razor.

Gillette Razors are my favorite.  The blades are sharp, but rarely do I cut myself.  I like the shape of the razor; it glides over my knees and elbows without any problems or nicks.  The handle is also a nice shape and fits in my hand perfectly.  These razors last me a couple weeks before I feel like they need to be replaced.

Gillette Venus Smooth Original is my favorite razor for many years! I love it so much! Although marketed to women I use it unisex. The product quality is good and the result is a super smooth clean-shaven skin with no irritation. I like the reusable handle to reduce waste.
