After trying 3 beds from my local mattress store I finally gave up and went to Macys’s where I found this luxury Beauty Rest firm mattress. I have spinal fusions and chronic back pain and have had this bed 5 days and in absolute sleep heaven. I wake up with no back pain and can sleep comfortably on my back or side. This mattress is worth every penny if you want support and comfort.

Every night sleeping on it feels like pure luxury. I’ve spent my life sleeping on value mattresses and mattresses in a box and nothing compares. I would absolutely invest in another Beautryrest mattress, good sleep is worth it.

After our previous Beautyrest mattress failed, we got the black in series 3, firm. My husband and I bought it about 3-4 months ago. Long story short, it failed. There are two dents in the bed from us. Had the inspector come today and confirm the mattress had failed. It also is advertised as "firm", but is a "medium". Even as a medium, there should not be two big dents in the bed now. Beautyrest quality has drastically declined, and the beds are mostly stuffed with soft garbage, it seems. We are done with this brand. This is sad, because it once was a coveted mattress brand. Now they just produce trash that fails. We will be going to a private and local mattress company. Will be getting a simple, no frills mattress. Zero padding and definitely no pillow top. A firm, old-fashioned mattress is the best. I thought this bed would be it, but I should have known it had too much padding. I would definitely consider an old Beautyrest model, if still sold as new. Note: we are average weight people, and the bed looks like two cows slept in it. He is 6+ft/200, I am 5'4/125.

The black is very sleek and stylish and the purple stitching design is a nice added touch. This mattress did not take long to break in, I have been sleeping more comfortably from the first night. This mattress provides a comfortable support without being too firm, it still feels plush and soft. I am a snorer and my partner has back pain and is a side sleeper, this mattress has helped us both fall asleep faster and wake up more rested. The mattress also does a good job regulating our temperature and keeping us cool throughout the night. This is a very high quality mattress that is worth the investment, I recommend to anyone looking for a luxury hotel bed feel. I also like that it is compatible with the Beauty Rest adjustable bases and I am looking into pairing it with one of those.

I was apprehensive when it was delivered and I first laid on it because I was used to a 4” memory foam topper on my hybrid mattress. It felt very firm to me. First night I slightly elevated my head and knees with adjustable base and slept very well. No hip aches or shoulder pain. Very happy so far with this BeautyRest Black Series One!

I’ll start off by saying I would have given this mattress 10 stars if I could have! This Beautyrest Blqck mattress is so comfortable. I have been getting the best sleep. This one is a medium firmness but I would say it’s a little more on the firm side, which I really like. It’s extremely durable and I love that it has handles on the sides that make it so much easier to move if you wish to do so. The stiching and just overall quality of this mattress is top notch! I would recommend checking out the Beautyrest Black mattress if you are looking for a new bed. You won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress seems to be of quality, it is quite thick, my sofa is quite high and together with the mattress the height of the bed has become very high. The mattress is comfortable, it has a thick layer of memory foam and this gives you the feeling that it adapts to you, you even sink a little, personally I like them firmer. At the moment the temperature is regulated quite well although I would have to wait for the real heat to arrive.
