unit is slightly narrower and a tad lower than my old one, which is good because the old one barely fit through the window opening. This is a simple unit with mechanical knobs (my old one with fancy digital and remote control took a crab after 2 years). This is also a bit more quiet than my old one, glad I got it. For longevity, only have it for couple months , so we'll see.

Great unit, price was reasonable and cools our bedroom beyond expectations. We bought this to cool our bedroom down more at night. We can leave the rest of the house set higher since we like our room cooler at night. Saves energy and $ on cooling cost. It’s working fabulously. We don’t have it set on the highest cool either. It is reasonably quiet too. It doesn’t come with a remote. I’ve had other units that have a remote but I never used it, and it isn’t that big of a deal for me to walk over to it to adjust the setting or turn it on/off. No wifi or a lot of extra features. It’s a great basic great working unit. I’d recommend buying it.

This works great in our bedroom. It took a couple hours for it to really start working once we installed it. Our room stays about 67-68 degrees.
