It keeps the downstairs very cool.

Overall the air conditioner is very easy to use, it only takes a few minutes to set it up. We are extremely happy with the quality and price of the product.

Not sure yet

Just installed an hour ago so maybe it hasn’t had enough time to cool the 15x10 ft room. But the room is in an air conditioned house that’s already at 72 degrees. I set the AC unit fan on high and the temperature on very cold. Also, I have a question about the drainage. I was confused by the directions to make sure that drainage was installed. There’s a hole there. Is that all I’m supposed to see? I just opened up the rubber stopper.

Hi there - thank you for sharing your insights with us. The air conditioner does require some time to completely cool the room. When heat is stored up in walls, furniture, rugs, and draperies, it will take longer to cool the room down. As for the drainage, water will collect in the base pan during days and times with high humidity. Removing the subbase water plug will reduce some of the noise caused by water slinging against the condenser to cool it. (Removing this plug will lower the Energy Efficiency of your unit.) Just make sure your air conditioner is tilted slightly to the outside in order to drain properly. If you have any further questions or concerns, reach out to us! We're always happy to help out. FREON LEAK

Great for medium sized rooms

I bought this for my son and his room is 10 x 12 and it truly cools his room down quickly. It was easy enough for him to install in his window.
