Cools bedroom perfectly

AC works as well as hoped for , dial is little stiff to turn off if you are weak / have arthritis in hands would suggest getting AC with remote control.

Great for master

Our master bedroom is roughly 250 square feet. It works incredibly well at keeping a nice cool temperature without having to work constantly. Easy to use, even in pitch dark.

good little AC

this would be better if it had a button on it, that would allow it to shut off once it reached the temperature in the room so that it was not running 24/7

Hi - We are delighted to hear your GE air conditioner has performed well at keeping you cool during the incredibly hot days and nights we've experienced across the country. The air conditioner will turn off once the thermostat is satisfied it has reached the proper temperature based on your control settings. If you're feeling comfortable and don't need the unit to run quite so much, you can turn the "Mode" control to OFF or you can turn the "Temperature" knob to a warmer setting such as 3 or even down to 1. The controls are there for you to adjust to suit your personal needs. We hope this is helpful. All our best! Vikki@GEA

Just what I needed!

I found this item to be just the right size for the room it has been installed in. Installation was very easy and it cooled the room down within 15 minutes. I would recommend this to family who need to cool a small space without over doing it.

An excellent powerful air conditioner

This is a very powerful air conditioner I keep it in my home office. I have it plugged into a power strip so I can turn it on and off easily because the knobs are too hard to turn

Saved the summer from meltdown!

My one bedroom house's air-conditioner broke. I bought just one window unit and it cooled the place down from 102° to 76°. It wouldn't have been livable without it. Thank you!!!

My A.C

It’s a winner. It keeps my small one bedroom cool. It’s hard to get the air to come around my wall as it sits in the way off to the right of it. Other then that the ac works great.

Ok for the price

So far so good. Install was of course custom. For the price, well so far so good. It blows cold air. I sealed my window with what I had on hand. They say to leave the drain plug in. Not sure what that is for, but it seems to work that way.
