I like that it’s small and quiet but it doesn’t cool as well as I’d like

Works very well, doesn't use much electricity.

Good basic easy to operate.

I found it very difficult to install because the hardware was inferior.

For the money, it cant be beat.  It works great . It pumps out some pretty cool air for a 5000 btu

This a/c seems small, but cools a large room very well.

Small a/c, does a big job!

Pathetic. It doesnt keep mysmall master bedroom cool. Turned up to the highest setting  it took 8 hrs to get my room slightly cool, but I was still sweaty and uncomfortable. My room is about 8 ×8.  That's it! Still, cant get the job done. I paid $165 + tax and shipping, and wish I could get my $$$ back.

Weak. Unless you're cooling a closet Save your $$$

Had to replace central air which would take away our a/c for a day.  Put this small unit in bedroom window as a refuge when we lost the use of the main a/c and it works great. We are keeping it in place to provide a cool boost. The price was right and the unit produced such good cold air had to turn it down, also had the seal of approval from the dogs.   Was fairly easy to install in a side sliding window (all instructions are for vertical and we have horizontal windows) May even buy another unit and put in my office for the summer.   Also very easy order on line and pick up in store next day.  Good product good service.
