Second time they were moldy

I have purchased these a dozen times. This week was the second purchase where the whole bag was moldy and spoiled.

Best cucumbers ever

I buy a pack of these every week. My family loves them just sliced with salt on them. Best snack around.

Too bitter

They looked fresh, but 3 out of 3 were bitter. I tossed them. I see product of Canada. Don't know when they were picked or how long they took to transport. I would return but it's an hour drive. I wish I could try before I buy.

Rot in 1 or 2 days. AVOID!

Sam's Club used to refrigerate its cucumbers, but no longer does so. Cucumbers that used to last a week in the refrigerator, now are only survive 1 or 2 days. As this occurs in all stores, it can only be assumed it was a corporate decision.

Went bad the next day

These were not in the cooler section if the store, so when I got home, I left them on the counter. The never next dayz, they had mold and were no longer appealing. I threw the whole bag out, unopened.

terrible

I would never recommend buying cucumbers from Sam’s Club because they always look good but never last as long as the grocery store does. They are slightly wet and get slimmy but if take them out if the bag, they dry up. Never packaged right.

Great for adventures!

We love these smaller cucumbers in our house! They are great for putting into bags for school snacks, with ranch dip as a dinner side, or sliced longways and put into hoagie sandwiches. I cut these into cucumber "coins" for my little girl to take on adventures in the back yard, she uses them to pay for her supplies before she sets out on her "quests" (She eats them instead of trading them of course!).

Dried sap-like spots with white fuzz on skin

The quality of these cucumbers are inconsistent. Sometimes there are issues, but oftentimes they are good. This last time, however, is a head-scratcher. 1. I found dried spots that are shining like sugar glaze - some of which had white fuzz on them. I can't tell if the fuzz is mold or not, so I ended up throwing those out. 2. I went to peel the rest for dinner, and had to stop after the second one because they both had a sticky coating once peeled (not slime). I searched online to see if the sticky stuff might be cucumber sap (if that's a thing), but got nothing. I tried a slice, and it is slightly bitter, which can be normal for some cucumbers, but not sure if that has anything to do with the stickiness this time around. Also, although the cucumbers are still firm, they were not crisp and there was no usual crunch, so something changed in the texture. I decided to just return the rest.

Great when they’re fresh

I agree with those who complain that these mini- cucumbers spoil too quickly. I’ve searched high and low on the packaging for a processing date or a “best by” date- none found, so the buyer can’t even give themselves the best chance of avoiding old cucumbers.
