Popcorn is a HUGE reward in our middle school classroom. Unfortunately after purchasing many, many boxes of this product we consistently get a minimum of 10-15 bags out of 30 that do NOT pop properly. I have contacted the company multiple times. They send a coupon out that doesn't help at Sam's (granted better than nothing) but students upset when they “buy/earn” a bag of popcorn and it doesn't pop properly.

I remember when a bag of popcorn was bursting at the seams once popped. Not with this one, I assume shrinkflation has taken hold here but you are lucky to get half a bag. They brag because of how many kernels pop, and they are right but when it is half a bag it is not the flex they think it is. And I know it says butter lovers but I recommend you bring your own because that got halved as well. All in all this product is a huge disappointment.

I enjoy this popcorn, but I did get a bag that was barely perforated. The popcorn very quickly smelled burned while cooking in the microwave, and actually caught on fire well before the timer went off. Only about half of the bag had popped. I worry that, if a teenager or child had been microwaving this, that it could have been a dangerous situation. I make sure to stay very close by when popping this popcorn in the microwave now, as I know there is the potential for this to happen again.

Popcorn is good but almost every bag requires scissors to open it after popping. Should be able to pull opposite ends of the hot bags and they just open. Not this box. Having to cut the bag open means your hands are closer to hot steam. That part sucks.

Just okay. For a larger size bag, the popped volume is rather low. Another brand does better on output with the same size bag and has less calories and saturated fat. The taste is nothing to get excited about. The butter taste seems artificial and bland. Sam's should give customers a choice and stock other brands.

I made the mistake for buying this 2 time forgetting I wasn't happy the first time either. The bag doesn't pop half its kernels and bag looks deflated when I take it out. The popcorn button on the microwave works fine for other brands but is about 5-10 seconds to much for this brand and leaves black burnt butter or something that sometimes even burns through the bag to the outside. Please get rid of this low quality, larger quantity ACT II for a large quantity better quality popcorn like PopSecret or Orville. Won't make this mistake again.

I have bought this box for years!!! Best economical buy for popcorn! But, as of late, every bag I pop has 60+ unpopped kernels!!!😳. I even purchased another box lately, thinking it might have just been a bad batch. Nope. Same thing happened with this box. I don’t know what’s up. Low grade popcorn?🤷‍♀️ I just wouldn’t recommend it anymore. 😢

Both recommended setting and popcorn setting with different cooking times resulted in burnt popcorn, or more than half of the popcorn was uncooked and the bag didn't inflate. The unburnt portion was fine. But it is annoying to have to separate the burnt from unburnt portions

Good as usual, fresh,most all popped.

Pretty good taste but ok for the price
