I question the quality of freshness for this item. The pieces of chocolate showed some texture changes that could be from being stored a long time. Granted, all the bars were crumbles when I received them do to other shipping problems with this order.

The Chewy granola bars have been a great addition to our Weekend Survival Kits which are supplemental food kits (we pack over 940 kits and generally include 2 bars per kit along with a host of other foods) that are sent home on the weekends to food insecure children in Lansing, MI.

The granola bars are what you’d expect from granola bars, especially the chocolate chip and peanut butter flavor ones. Everyone I know who tries the “smores” flavored bars says the same thing … they have an undesirable slightly chemical taste. They’re edible, just not as tasty as the chocolate chip and peanut butter flavored ones.

I really loved these then saw they DO have some high fructose corn syrup in them. It is way down the ingredient list, but with honey WHY do you need that cr@ in them then? So I am only giving 4 stars as a result. LOSE THE HIGH FRUTOSE, and I'll change my review AND BUY THEM AGAIN! THEY WERE YUMMY!

I love these because there are so many in the box and such a great value for the amount. This is great to have with 2 teen boys, husband, and myself. Quick snack just to cut the edge if you are hungry. I love the flavors, they are nice and soft and chewy, and just good.

I always buy the chewy bars at sams club! For years I always bought generic @$2.00 for 12 and always would buy 4-5 boxes. now I buy one big box for way cheaper and so much better!!! So chewy fresh and yummy I even catch my husband snacking on the peanut butter ones. Great buy!
