Without a long drawn out story I can say this mattress exceeds my expectations. This is our first Tempurpedic mattress. You know how when you buy a mattress and the first week to two weeks your body needs to adjust? This didn't happen to us! No sore back! I have arthritis in my back and I expected my usual two weeks of pain but it never happened. We've had this mattress for just shy of 30 days and can say honestly that we love this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mattress and was excited to get it. I was aware upfront that it takes a little breaking in, but it's well work the effort. It is a firmer mattress, but contours to your body perfectly to allow for the spine to be supported appropriately. My morning back pain has significantly decreased. My only issue is specifically with the one that I purchased. One side has broken down considerable more than the other and to roll from one side to the other is like climbing over a fence. It's almost as if it had been pre-owned and they sent me one that had been returned during the 30 trial period, which is a purchasable option in the store. I did email this information previously, but never heard back from anyone, so I was a little disappointed in that.

Haven't had a bad night of sleep yet. Only thing I will say is the mattress made us realize how bad our pillows are! We will be upgrading to the tempurpedic pillows as soon as possible! 1 hour of sleep on a tempurpedic equals 6 hours on a traditional mattress. It's in the math people! Quality of sleep gives you quality of life!

First night with my new mattress and my back didn't hurt and had a restful night. I've had this mattress for about a year now and still love it. The mattress does hold heat though for those that run hot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Tempur-pedic about 2 yrs ago and it has been the best mattress we have ever had. We get quality sleep and feel rested every day. No more waking up with back-aches and not feeling like we were rested any longer. I love the fact that it keeps me cool at night and I am able to get a full night's rest. I wake up feeling invigorated and have the energy to keep me going all day without feeling tired.

I have had the Tempur-Adapt mattress for a little less than two years now. It only worked and provided good sleep for a few month. I am sinking into the mattress so much that even when resting on the mattress for a short while I feel stiff and in ache. I mostly sleep on my back and side. I am very disappointed in the customer service and the quality of this mattress. I feel like their entire marketing, product description and premium quality is a lie. I've been sleeping better on my sofa.

I had the Tempurpedic Classic Symphony for 12 years and it was the best!! But it began to sag so I used my pro-rated warranty claim for a new mattress and foundation. The Symphony had been discontinued so I was given the medium adapt which is completely different. I have had it for around four weeks and have been in such pain upon waking, in my back, legs, and neck. It is also much higher. I had to buy anothe brand Mattress Topper, which has really helped and really the only way I've been able to keep it. It is comfortable now with it. It's not fair that you not only lose the 90 day trial, but are also stuck with the purchase when you use your warranty. I wish they hadn't discontinued the Symphony as it was firm but plush and comfy. All of the representatives were all very helpful and friendly though, and the claim process was great, other than the fact that I am not happy with the mattress.

I'm still trying to adjust to this mattress. I am a side sleeper. There are some mornings when I get up and think this is a pretty good mattress, other mornings I wonder if I should have made a different selection as I have felt a strong pressure point on my right hip and soreness that lasts a few minutes after I get up, so It seems the mattress could use just a little more cushioning. I haven't noticed this so much when I sleep on my left side. I do have an old injury to my right hip so that could be the problem. I wouldn't say this is a terrible mattress but I wouldn't say that it is a super great mattress either.

My husband and I purchased the Adapt Medium King mattress after trying several models. We previously had mid to high end conventional mattresses. We would purchase a new mattress every few years. We were also big mattress flippers, constantly trying to spin it to get a better feel. I typically would wake several times a night and rollover to get more comfortable. Additionally I had been experiencing side hip pain which caused me to wake and roll over often. I attributed this to being a middle aged runner and thought it came with the territory. I actually stopped running for a week thinking maybe it would help. Well after a few nights on our new Tempurpedic mattress I must say I was pain free. We have had our mattress for over a month. I sleep great, I am pain free, and best of all I never imagined a bed would feel so good!

I have had my mattress for 6 years and still love it. I had some struggles with putting on the sheets until someone said to raise the head of the bed. Then the distance needed is less and makes fitting the sheet easy.. The sheets will not rip, they will stretch when the mattress is lowered.
