I tried this mattress out in the store and the firmness felt perfect. For the first few weeks the firmness was great and it relieved pressure on my spine wonderfully. Then it started to soften more and more to the point where 2 months after buying, I sink all the way down to the springs like I'm on a cheap 20 year old spring mattress. Absolutely horrible. Do not buy.

I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future! Very happy with this mattress. However it does sleep a little warmer than our contour elite breeze we had. Not sure if there are sheets or a topper that can help eliminate that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't find it too bad, but my husband does. I love how the mattress is soft but still supportive. Our last mattress was firm and it was too firm.

Unlike other mattresses we have owned, it has not developed any "body impressions.". Since using it, my back problems have improved to the point that I experience less pain than before.

Do not get the split king. They continuously come apart in the middle. We purchased the split king and an Ease 2.0 base with assurance from customer service we could return if it didn't work for us. There is fine print. You can only return the mattresses. The base was faulty and came apart down the middle as well. Customer service didn't work with us at all regarding the base return even though it's faulty. The only option was replacement. But what am I going to do with a $1400 base that doesn't work? And a standard king doesn't fit up our 1900s house stairwell. Very unhappy customer.

With previous mattresses I would toss and turn all night, literally waking up in pain every time I'd roll over. I was dealing with major lower back pain and shoulder pain all day every day. My husband finally let me order this Mattress and I do not regret it at all. From night one I noticed a difference, I was only waking up because of my cat and not back pain. Worth every penny! We have the adjustable base with this as well and will never go back to any other type of mattress. There is seriously nothing to not love, we love everything about this Mattress.

We had a tempurpedic years ago (rhapsody model) and absolutely loved it. When we downsized we had to sell it as a king would not fit in our new place. We tried 2 other top mattresses which failed us. We went back to tempurpedic and absolutely love our new tempur-adapt medium hybrid. Worth the money and the great nights sleep!

Replaced our mattress with the Tempur-Adapt Medium Hybrid. Our old mattress was a high end foam mattress and 17 years old but technology has changed a lot. Our sleep quality has drastically improved. We chose a hybrid for maximum support it provides for our lower back and hips. We are back/side sleepers and this mattress supports those positions best. I honestly can say we no longer wake up with lower back pain. We use to have to take naps but after we bought this mattress we rarely need them! We have an adjustable base and the mattress does not bunch up in the middle when raised. We also purchased a Tempur Cloud and a Tempur Essential Support Pillow. My husband loves the cloud because it is a bit softer and he is more of a back sleeper but I love the Essential because I mostly sleep on my side and it supports my neck perfectly.

We thought this bed was a great buy and were excited to have it however I soon realized I was getting too warm when I wake up and need to move to a cooler place on the mattress. It was like the heat gets trapped. My husband on the other hand really enjoyed it at first but the longer we have had it, the more achy he has become and frequently has been waking up. We are both side sleepers and we think we need a softer bed also. This hybrid having 1/2 spring facilitates love making better than 100% foam but due to the aches and heat, we are considering a trade in for a traditional spring mattress.

This mattress does all of that! It's the perfect level of firmness and give and feels incredibly well made. It's my second tempur-pedic mattress and I continue to be incredibly happy with their products.
